Buffyverse stuff in non-Buffyverse places

In an episode of Farscape, John Crichton states that it will take such a long time to get back to earth that Buffy will have ended.

In Spaced. After Brian has split up with Twist. Tim says. "She's shallow, Brian, like Cordelia from Buffy the Vampire Slayer and latterly Angel the spin off series that was set in L.A." 🙂

I got the Gilmore Girls quote " It's 11 o'clock at night! Who are you planning on hooking up with? Spike and Drusilla?", made by Rory, for the umpteenth time in the random quote thingy today, and it got me wondering for a bit. Are there anymore shows or films or whatever where they refer to Buffy or Buffy related stuff?

I have one, which might or might not be a reference. In the Mighty Book of Boosh (and if I remember correctly, also during the live show) Rich Fulcher refers to dingoes as 'baby eaters'. It could be a reference, right? But then again, in all fairness, 'the dingoes got my baby!' was, I quote,

Anyway, I like to think of it as a reference to Dingoes ate my Baby.

Have you got any more references to Buffy in not Buffyverse places?

Well it is, but its not a reference to Buffy - the Buffy one is actually the reference to something else. I definitely think that this one is a stretch!

Now, I watched the awesome, funny, great and hilarious 'My Name is Bruce' the other night with the fun Bruce Campbell and right at the end he says something like "Next time you raise a Chinese demon, maybe get that Buffy Chick instead!"
Hilarious!

What episode of Gilmore Girls is that in? I watch nothing but Gilmore Girls 24/7 atm and i haven't seen that yet

and i dunno if it's still open, but i made this thread last year...

Will and Grace, I can't remember what episode it was but Jack says 'Oh for the love of Buffy and Angel...JUST SAY IT!!!' LMAO

Oh also, just remembered this...Lush cosmetics company have an exfoliant called Buffy the Backside Slayer 😀

Thursday night I was watching my weekly fix of "ER" (*which is ending next thursday, ack!*) and a pregnant lady rolled into the ER for the episode that I SWORE I knew from somewhere. It was definitely Buffy's demonic roommate "Cathy" from season 4, I couldn't believe it! She looks almost the same, only with darker hair but seeing her on a medical show was surreal!

FYI - Archies girlfriend is the pregnant woman Angel has to protect in Angel season 2 episode Judgement (I think)
Remember the ep - he kills her protector because the Powers send a vision then he goes and fights at the Tribunal with a Black Knight?

There are a lot of Buffy references in the Jaqueline Wilson books I used to read when I was younger. Can't remember which ones but at least three of them. I remember in one of them this girl was flirting with a guy and she said to him 'Oooh, I love Buffy. Do you think vampires are real?'
That just came to me, I don't know how I remember these things; I must have been about 8 when I read it.

I might suck at this but:
Seth Green is in the White and Nerdy music video, showing off the cherry action figures

A.S.H was in Sweeney Todd, AND on Graham Norton's show, making "Poofy the vampire slayer"

Michelle T was in MAD TV's Buffy parody scetch

In Runaways, Nico stakes a vampire. His reply. " Sorry, kid. Whedon got it wrong. Stakes don't kill vampires, they just give us heartburn. "

Okay sorry sorry sorry in advance for this reference, I used to watch "Big Wolf on Campus" when I was a kid and I remember there was like a Muffy (I just wiki-checked, can't believe I got that right) the Werewolf Slayer, it was a total parody of Buffy, she wanted to slay the main character, a good werewolf, and then realized he was good. I remember her saying at the end of the episode "So there are good werewolves... That's gonna make my work harder.". Of course they were totally flirting for the entire episode. Man that show was crap.

In a French movie, that was with kind of a big casting, "Les femmes de l'ombre", the music in the trailer was Robert Duncan's for "Chosen". It's only a couple of years old. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0_xmV3FT9Tc]Here's the link 🙂[/ame]

Ahem, deat to vampires indeed.
I know plenty of board members who could be these girls
