Alot of Animes now a days are goin live action (eather movies or TV shows/dramas) Such as Dragonball Z, Yugioh, Devilman and Honey Gir are all movies (eather Japanese made or American)

And TV shows like.......Great teacher Onizuka, Boys over Flowers (AKA Metor Garden) Peach Girl, Marmalade Boy, Come to my place...and sooo much more (all Taiwan made dramas or teen TV shows based on the anime)

But the big one is the one commin out in summer 2004!!! 'DEVILMAN' starring identical twins Yusuke and Hisato Izaki. The movie will be relesed in Japan first and then dubbed and released in the US on the big screen alongside the live action of Dragonball Z.

So has anyone seen the anime, I have and it's REALY REALY SCARY AND DARK!!!! So seeing 2 cute pop stars from the cute group F-L-A-M-E play evil dark characters will be kinda weird since there just to sun shiny and cute. Well Im looking forward to it. The next big Japanese production to hit theaters in the USA sine 'AKIRA'!!

Never heard of the devilman thing. DBZ flick sounds like kind of fun, but I'm gonna be too embarrased to see it in theathers... lol.

Oh no there is no Live Action of 'Akira' its just that it was a big hit in the theaters (the anime/movie thing) in like 99 or 00 I dont remember.
 
I've heard for awhile about the live action version of Akira, but I'm not sure if it's gonna happen since the director kinda dropped out.

I'm actually not sure about the Akira movie, the last parts would be probably modified, either because they wouldn't look good or because they wouldn't be fit for american audiences.
 
americans are such little kids I sawre...I mean in japan you got kids playing evil demon people (aka the Izaki twins) but here theyere sooooo stingy about that stuff...I hate it!!! I bet when Devilman comes to the USA its gonna be rated R.
 
I hear ya. There's nothing they can change about it.

Damn hypocryt americans, no faul language, no violence on tv... but hey, you can buy a gun at the local supermarket and they kill all of our prisoners 😀

(And the presidents IQ is 9 points below average :O)

I myself would like to see a Vampire Princess Miyu live action movie 😀
 
They're doing Evangelion??? Awesome! That's my favourite anime series ever!
 
Oh wow theres gonna be a neon Genesis Evangelion live action remake i love that Anime!! (well i havent actually seen all of it yet but i totally love it!!)

I dunno, I actually didn't mind it that much. I guess we're just going to have to wait and see. But again I'll probably be too embarrased to go watch it or rent it :$
