I've been watching the few episodes of "Burn Notice" on Hulu lately, and I was just wondering what the dolks here might think about the show.

watched a few episodes a while back. Good action but a bit too much cheese for my liking. Writing is either really good or cringe worthy, it alternates.

Yeah, they are kinda heavy on the eye candy. Even a semi-dirty old man like me can agree on that. Fairly good action though. "McGyver meets James Bond."

Honestly My mom watches it and so to escape complete boredom expecially when the munchkin is sleeping, I watch too...
I dont think its too bad, the guy is kinda cute so it works for me plus just some of the stuff on there is actually interesting makes you wonder if its all true, or what is and what isn't.... lol

As I said, I've only seen the few episodes available on HULU. Until I found it there, I'd never even heard of it. I can't vouch for everything that they do, but at least the martial arts seems pretty accurate. They even knew the difference between Hapkido and Sambo. (And, no, before somebody says it, not THAT Sambo. Sambo is the Russian equivalent of the Israeli military hand to hand combat system, Krav Magda.)

I like Burn Notice, looking forward to the new season starting, supposed to be this month....I haven't seen any commercials for it yet, tho. They've been showing the old epis from the first two seasons on...what is it? USA Network? It does have it's cringeworthy moments, but I like the light humor, the interaction between the three main characters; Sam, Michael and Fiona. There was kind of uneasy alliance thing going on in the first season, but they've settled in to a partnership now. It's a fun show!

I haven´t seen much of Burn notice. Just commercials and 3 minutes here and where. Not something to make a fair judgement by. But obviously that hasn´t been enough to catch my interest.

Or "dolks" might be a typo for "folks." Works either way, though, since the Board members are so sharp.

Watch it yes yes initially as Bruce Campbell is in it but then the show was just good so yep *what a dolty thing to say* yeah i like the term Dolt better.
Plus it had Tricia 6 cylon woman in the show... but aside from THE KING and a cylon i loved how they explained how to make these weapons and gadgets... the actual way Michael talked over the show was funny (im not wanting to make weapons out of household items or anything.......HONEST)

No, this is season 3 starting. Burn Notice has always been a mid-season replacement, so it doesn't follow the normal season schedule of the big three networks.

thanks i wasnt sure... with season 1 being twice as long as season 2 currently is
i really rather enjoy the replacement shows like middleman or in plain sight (i think they wer on at odd times of the year)

Well! USA is billing it as season 2.5, LOL! So far there've been 9 epis, so I guess they'll have another 9 or 10 to complete this one? There were only 12 first season....

I watched a few eps but to be honest it never really pulled me in. The bad irish accents did not help either.
