I don't know if you guys have seen the episode synopsis for episode 18 (www.spoilerslayer.com if you haven't) but this Caleb guy sounds like a really nasty piece of work.

It also sounds like he is extremely powerful, managing to knock Buffy out with a single punch. Earlier in the episode he sends a message to her; he has something of hers.

We're assuming that Caleb is fully human so how can he be so powerful? My theory is that *somehow* he's managed to get his hands on the demon mist from 'Get It Done' - that would certainly qualify as something of Buffy's. Perhaps this is the consequence she will face for not accepting the power when offered it.

And you know how much Joss and co like to take these sort of misinformed decisions and shove them right back in the characters' faces. Anyway, that's my theory and it's probably wrong, but I thought I'd see what you guys thought...

Thats a good theory. Apparently, Caleb or whatever is supposed to be a main character from when he appears, and yes, he's supposed to be strong.

Ive read this and i cant remember, but Caleb is either the Bringers boss, or he works for the bringers, soz i cant remember, but its one of them

I think that he is the Bringer's boss.

but, I'm not sure.

For some reason, I thought he was supposed to be on the good side, but evidently he is not... so I'm confused all around

I still count in the possibility of him being a "good" guy, more like he thinks he's doing the right thing!

Everything I have read makes it seem like he is evil but thinks he isn't. Seems rather odd, if he's supposed to be a former-preacher.
