oh, i agree

seriously.. what is so great about this guy. sure, he's better than the first evil, but he isn't funny at all. and that's all that matters.
 
dude...he's one of the best villians ever...he's so evil...he don't need monster make up...i'm betting you don't like the complexities in the buffy universe...cause this is one of those complexities
 
How can you even say that Caleb sucks? I mean he is one of the greatest villains ever, he isnt even supposed to be "funny". He is supposed to be evil and so far they have written him to be evil and I have to give them compliments on a job well done. The dialouges fit him as a nutshell (no pun intended).
 
:S ... And then I thought I was crazy! ... How can you say Caleb suck? He's brilliant! His monologue at the end was great!
 
oh come on. "complexities of the buffy universe".. what

this show used to have villians who were funny.. i mean, even adam had his moments. all caleb has done is beat some people up so that buffy will be left thinking that there's no way she can win, until she comes up with a plan and kills him easily with the help of her friends blah blah.

at least the first could take the form of better villians.
 
villians are supposed to be villians fool...there not here to amuse the Captain...lol
 
Caleb's character is open to debate. The acting skills of the person behind the role are pretty phenomenal though.
 
for me, so far caleb is salad. boring salad. heehee
you guys who like him are lucky cuz y'all are feelin the character. me? not just yet. maybe next episode.
 
Not all villains are supposed to be comedians!!!

Like Allycat said, Caleb's monologue at the end was AMAZING, i had never been so in love with a dialogue in awhile... not all villains should make you laugh, Caleb's point is to be EVIL, really really EVIL... he does that perfectly

with one episode and he became one of my fav characters ever
 
I dunno he made me chuckle a few times... like when he asked the SIT that was being chased by the bringers "Did you ever think they might be chasing you because your a whoor?"
 
hmmm i really doubt he'll be a BIG problem.....caleb is an interesting bad guy....he has good lines.....i just think they'll have to deal with the turak things....and bringers
 
I think Caleb *is* funny, but his humor is very dark. He's also seriously disturbed. (He's easier to appreciate if you've had some experience with the hypomanic.)

I find the actor impressive. It would be an easy role to do badly.
 
With no offense to anyone, I absolutely cannot stand his accent!!! Nevermind the character, with that accent I can't understand half of what he's saying, plus I just can't take him seriously for the life of me because of it!
 
Caleb's a very good bad guy.

If I were diabolically evil, and super-strong and Christian, I'd probably be like Caleb. When he sees Faith, he says, "Well you're the other one aren't you? The Cain to her Abel. No offense to Cain ah 'course." He says all of this while besting Faith, and with a smile on his face.

It's pathetic, I know, but if I were evil and super-powerful, I'd be like that. Not only would you get your ass kicked by me, you'd have to listen to me talking about destiny and religion and stuff while it's happening! 🙂

I simultaneously like and hate Caleb. I like him because he has cool lines, but I hate him because he's a religious zealot and I never like them, regardless of whether they're evil.
