Basically, a guy wanted to buy the rights to BTVS and was shut down, and then called in a bomb threat to the Disney offices (among other crazy things). People are crazy.

Well, all I can say is, I think the modern world is making people a little cray cray, so we're escaping into our favorite little fictional universes more than usual, and perhaps some of us are taking it a little too seriously...
