Imagine if Buffy and Angel got married... How would it go?

Also for this, make it so they went with the original plot for the last episode and Buffy was given the life changing by God and she wished Tara and Anya back to life, so they'd be included in this.

When would they do it?
Who would be the maid of honor?
Who would be best man?
Location? Date?
Who would be Buffy's bridesmaids?

I'm assuming this is an AU where Dawn doesn't exist and Spuffy never happened so Spike is still soulless and with Dru plus Darla is still around.

When would they do it?

Just after Sundown where it's still light but the daylight isn't going to kill the groom. There's also the symbolism of the two worlds mixing where day meets night.

Who would be the maid of honor?

Willow. There is nobody else that Buffy would want to ask.

Who would be best man?

I think Angel might have 2 best men: Wesley and Gunn . They'd be in charge of keeping the Whirlwind in line and reeling Spike in since "Angel one slaughtered a wedding party and beat the groom to death with his own arms" wouldn't go down well with the in-laws or any of Buffy's relatives. Wesley and Gunn would booster the "Angel is a great guy" stories.

Location? Date?

Halloween. It's the only night Buffy gets off and the only night where demons aren't out causing trouble. Location wise, not a church because of Angel being a vampire. Maybe an outdoor ceremony but the reception would be inside with a bar.

Who would be Buffy's bridesmaids?

Willow, Tara, Anya out of obligation, and Xander as a bridesman.

What would their vows sound like?

Probably something sickly sweet.

Would Spike attend?

Yes, if only to embarrass Angel in some form.

Who all would attend?

Joyce, Giles, the Scoobies, The Whirlwind (as they're the closest Angel has to family), The AI team.

What would they wear?

Giles would wear a tuxedo, The Scooby girls would wear pale blue dresses (which would compliment all their hair colours), Xander would wear a suit with a pale blue shirt. Spike would wear a black shirt with his jeans and coat, Dru would wear a red dress whilst Darla would wear something skin tight in the hope that Angel would be tempted to leave Buffy and be with her instead. Gunn and Wesley would wear tuxedos, Cordy and Fred would wear posh looking dresses, Joyce would wear something that screams "mother of the bride". Angel would wear a tuxedo whilst Buffy would wear a wedding dress that's classy but form fitting.

Funny incidents that would happen?

The Whirlwind would get drunk and the Scoobies and AI team would spend their time ensuring that none of the Whirlwind are left unsupervised, lest they try and eat wedding guests or start telling Angelus stories.

Wedding Crashers?

The Whirlwind if they weren't invited. Angel would set up a tab for them at the bar to keep them out of trouble which leads to them getting drunk.

What food would be served?

It would be a buffet so that it doesn't look obvious when the vampires don't eat much.

How would the reception go?

The reception would go reasonably well with each couple dancing and drinking together. Darla would feel left out since nobody wants to talk to her, and Dru and Spike are too occupied with each other to take any notice of her. Darla then decides to make a speech and reveal all of Angel's past misdeeds as Angelus but is quickly bundled away by Gunn who tries to smooth things over with the other guests by saying Darla was joking. Angel tries to talk to Darla but Darla drunkenly tries to seduce him, this pisses off Buffy who confronts Darla and the two women have a fight. Buffy wins and Darla is left to slink away. One of the male wedding guests makes sexual advances towards Darla but she just brushes him off. Everybody goes home at the end of the night, whilst Buffy and Angel reflect on how well things went.

Lots of massaging involved to get here. I'm thinking this is post NFA. Comics Spuffy never happens post S7. Angel shanshus at NFA.

When would they do it?
Post NFA, lots of issues need to be worked out between Buffy and Angel. I give them 1 year to get their shit together and give their relationship another shot and then another year or so to have a relationship before taking the next step.

Who would be the maid of honor?
Dawn or Willow maybe dual MOH hard choice.

Who would be best man?
Unfortunately many of Angel's friends are dead 🙁 If Gunn survived maybe Gunn or for a really nice touch Connor.

Location? Date?
Well Angel is human and is all about the sun. It would be nice to do something small on a beach. Think Anne flashback scenery.

Who would be Buffy's bridesmaids?
Willow & Dawn

What would their vows sound like?
Angel would pick a poem or a sonnet.

Buffy would speak from the heart.

Would Spike attend?
Sure.

Who all would attend?
Scoobies, what is left of the fang gang, Faith, Spike.

What would they wear?
Buffy would wear a simple white dress. Her hair would be long and down. Maybe some big pretty flowers
Angel maybe something like this

Funny incidents that would happen?
Dawn brings a demon as a date. Buffy freaks out.
Spike brings Harmony as date.
Connor hits on Faith the entire night.

Wedding Crashers?
Can't think of anyone fun.

What food would be served?
Chocolate cake.

How would the reception go?
Well you know Angel doesn't dance as a rule but Buffy forces him to break this rule. Lots of dancing and good fun. Lets add some extra cheese on top and make their first song Wild Horses.

Emotional, beautiful, powerful and inspiring.

No, he would have finally realized that him and Buffy wil never ever happen.

Willow, Dawn, Xander, Giles, Connor, Faith, Lorne, Illyria and Gunn (what do you mean he had lethal wounds at the end of NFA? 😉).

What would they wear?
Way too beautiful to be described lol.

Buffy and Gunn would compete against each other in a juggling contest 😀

Nope, their wedding would be absolute perfection.

A lot of ice cream, that's for sure.

It would be in a cathedral, like in Angel's dream of marrying Buffy.

Prom & Something Blue show that Angel & Buffy both want a daylight wedding.

They would have doubleset rings. I saw the perfect ones but don't know how to upload pics to this site.

Dawn & Connor (their daughter & son) would be the maid of honor & best man. They are the two people Angel & Buffy love the most.

Giles would walk Buffy down the aisle, after much apologizing from him and rebuilding their relationship.

Buffy would have a knife strapped to her leg under her dress and the Scythe would be nearby.

Bridesmaids: Willow, Winifred (she was brought back in the comics so if there was an AtS s6 & 7 it would've happened)

Tara, Cordelia, and Anya are still dead. Besides, CC ships Cangel (DB, SMG, & JM ship Bangel) so doesn't get to attend and I can't forgive Anya for "I'm not (your friend)" and "you're just luckier than us" rant in EP when the year earlier Buffy was one of her bridesmaids.
