So I follow Chris Hardwick on twitter, Nerdist.

He just tweeted info about the new series (Series 6) of Doctor Who. Yeah, and Doctor Who Series 6 premiers April 23rd. YAY.

Also on this same page, someone made a Doctor Who/Buffy mesh up of the opening of Buffy! I'm giddy because I find this awesome.

That was awesome! I've seen a few of the Buffy/Doctor Who mesh ups, but that one is the best so far.

And on the premiere news, it's REALLY late for them to be airing it, it's usually at the end of March/beginning of April 🙁

I haven't seen any except this doctor who/ Buffy mesh up and this one is awesome.

Well it's always premiers around Easter. And Easter is towards the end of April this year.

Ohh that'll be great. 🙂 yup. The 23rd of April will come around soon. Especially when we're not thinking about it.
 
Heard about the premier date today too 🙂 Can't wait! I'm gonna have to do something about this not-having-a-tv problem of mine. :/

Love that mash up! I think I saw it a couple of days ago. Very well done and it matches the sort of editing style of the Buffy intro theme with the ending always having the scoobies walking towards the camera. 🙂

It is. They did an awesome job of the video.😀 I haven't seen any other Doctor Who/Buffy mesh ups.😛 This one is awesome.
 
I love Doctor Who. And that mash-up was amazing. I love it when my two favourite shows come together like that. I've been away from DW fandom for a while, and I only found out the premiere date from this thread just now. So excited now. 😀

About the new season, I heard that they'll divide it in two parts. Anyone know anything about that?

Steven Moffat said he's calling the first part Series 6 and the second part Series 7, which means we're getting shorter series, although, most people are just referring to it as Series 6 (I'd rather they keep it as Series 6, 'cos I have OCD and it'd annoy me.) Apparently the second half is airing in the Autumn.

And the Angel-style one was pretty good too.

By the way, anyone wanna set up an actual thread for Doctor Who? Where we can discuss the episodes as they air (similar to the Glee one.) I think that would be fun. 🙂

Bah! So basically we get like 5 or 6 episodes in the end of April and then we have to wait 4 or 5 months until we can see the rest? I'm hating this. I feel like their doing this to drive the fans crazy.lol

That's an idea but I recommend you, and others, to go to After-Darkness. More than a few bb:ers and a whole lot more than just one thread of Doctor Who. And Fringe, Smallville, Supernatural, V, Being Human, True blood, Vampire diaries etc...

I just joined After Darkness board.😀 Sounds like a good place to talk about all those shows you listed that I watch.hehe

Just joined! I watch most of the shows you listed, so hopefully it'll be a fun place to discuss them. And even better if there are BBers there.
