Can Anyone Help...?

Okay, my R.E homework is about Karma and Moksha, I've done all of it, except the last point says 'How does Karma apply in TV shows such as My Name Is Earl' and I've never seen it. I really need help on how it applies, I tried googling it, but I found nothing, can anyone help me with that? =/

I've only watched the show a couple of times, isn't it about a guy who has a big long list of all the bad things he has done in his life and is progressively trying to make up for each one? don't know if these links will help. Good luck.

The few times I've seen it, if I understand the general plot, it's the classic stupid redneck who wins the lottery, and decides that fate has given him the opportunity to right all of the wrongs he feels he's committed to various people over the years. Naturally,everyone he tries to apologize to is very vindictive and this leads to funny situations every week. Complicating matters is a greedy ex wife who wants all of the money for back alimony (the prize was only a few thousand dollars apparently), and a retard brother who keeps screwing everything that Earl does up.
