Something good has happend to Angel which has not had horrible consequences afterwards?

During the first season when Angel became human and was able to "BE" with Buffy.

Yes but after he had to change time back a day and only he could remember what happend. So all that did was cause him more pain.

After he managed to defeat Spike and the wierd Bald guy and get the ring Of Amara in season 1 he was able to watch the sunset and see the sun again without anything bad happening.

Yeah but then he had to smash the ring up because of his whole "I must look after people at night" thing. It must of torn him up inside smashing the thing that could make him that little bit more human.

he built a friendship with faith and helped her hence she helped him back and saved him from himself🙂

There ya go...good thinking Foi. Ya know, there aren't too many characters that have had 100% pure good happen with any situation. Most of them eventually ended in anger, tears and even death...
