Not a great article but at least there is starting to be some acknowledgement that summer heat is bad for brains.
Whenever I told people that summer made me bad active depressive I was fobbed off and told only winter makes people depressed. Its really annoying when mainstream media catches up 20 years later. Spring is the worst for suicide in my experience.
Not sure what they mean about the resilient communities bit at the end - im hoping they mean more pools and air conditioning and air conditioned spaces with no power outages. Possibly even night time activities instead of forcing life to be 9-5 in an extremely hot environment where we should be resting between 11-3pm instead.
