Can you read this?

That second test was kinda easy, like doing a word search.

The idea of knowing the word from only seeing the first and last letter is great, but not if you have to quickly spell-check an essay for English class because so I used to miss so many errors that way. If only teachers would accept my "but you know what I was trying to spell" excuse. 😉

I can read it..I also found the C and the 6, but no luck on the N...i'm sure it's not there lol...I love these things!

I could read it yay me! lmao I've seen it before though. But it took me forever to find the N. But I did find it.

The first one was easy. 🙂

And oh goodness, it took me like a minute to find the C. I actually had to scan through each line to find it. I found the other ones in seconds though. 😀

Needless to say, as a psych student, I've seen tons of these things.
Espeially like those fields where you had to look for the C etc. They like to use stuff like that as an example to explain how the visual cortex works.

I've seen that before!! The first post was easy to read. As for the 'find the letter or number', the '6' and 'N' I found in like 2 secs, but the 'C' took me almost a minute haha 😛

The phaonmneal pweor of the hmuan mnid, aoccdrnig to a rscheearch at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy, it dseno't mtaetr in what oerdr the ltteres in a word are, the olny iproamtnt tihng is that the frsit and last ltteer be in the rghit pclae. The rset can be a taotl mses and you can still raed it whotuit a pboerlm. This is bcuseae the huamn mnid deos not raed ervey lteter by istlef, but the word as a wlohe. Azanmig huh? Yaeh and I awlyas tghuhot slpeling was ipmorantt!

If you can read this, you have a strange mind too

Can you read this? Only 55 people out of 100 can.

I couldn't believe that I could actually understand what I was reading. The phenomenal power of the human mind, according to a researcher at Cambridge University, it doesn't matter in what order the letters in a word are only important thing is that the first and last letter be in the right place. The rest can be a total mess and you can still read it without a problem. This is because the human mind does not read every letter by itself, but the word as a whole. Amazing huh? Yeah and I always thought spelling was important!

Interesting stuff...
