Cancelled!!

Popular, I'm not sure whether it got cancelled or they just stopped.

Dawson's Creek just stopped and Nip/Tuck is still running.
 
OLD MASTER: Thanks for that, I was living here, in the US while it aired, can't believe I didn't know what it was. (The only thing I watch on the WB is (was) Angel though).

Lilah: That reminds me, I LOVED Sliders, thought it was great.

I caught a couple eps of that here on Showcase. Good series, and I was surprised to see Coltrane as Hagrid, although he did a great job!!

I think there's a difference between 'cancelled' and 'ended'. Buffy ended; it wasn't cancelled...

I dug this thread up to post that Freaks and Geeks, despite prohibitive music rights, will be released on DVD as of April '04 (Hopefully), with all the original music from the show intact.

Well, the obvious ones that come to mind are Firefly and Angel. But I really liked The Tick live action series. It's all well and good that these're all available on DVD, but it would've been nicer to have had more eps to be available on DVD...
 
  • Firefly - okay, so I never saw it until it came out on DVD after it was cancelled, but I think it was the best of Joss' shows (and I think they're all three, obviously, fantastic)
  • Kindred: The Embraced - prime time vampire soap that aired (briefly) on basic cable in 1996...very cool premise (five warring vampire clans). Five of Kindred's main characters would eventually show up in the Buffyverse: Brian Thompson (The Master's henchman Luke in season 1, The Judge in season 2), Brigid Walsh (Virginia, Wes' girlfriend in Angel season 2), Channon Roe (Jack, the dead punk who messes with Xander in The Zeppo), Jack Conley (Sahjhan on Angel, Cain the werewolf hunter in buffy ep Phases) and Jeff Kober (Rack in Buffy season 6 and Kralik the insane vampire in the season 3 ep Helpless). Tony Amendola played a Thesulac Demon in Angel season 2, and Angel stuntman Henry Kingi, Jr. was also on the show.
    ...God, I love the IMDB. I may be too easily amused.
