Candied bacon: yay or nay?

I don't know about you, but THIS has me hypnotised. I LOVE bacon, and this recipe sounds like sheer heaven.

So, what do think? Does this make your mouth water? Because its KILLING me! 🙂

lol my bad, candied bacon is indeed delicious. My ex has that recipe she'd make, it was some kind of oven baked bacon with brown sugar and some other stuff, who knew sweet bacon could taste so good. I wish I still had that recipe, shoulda asked for it before the break up...

UI was right there with you @Blaze . I wouldn't say no to candied bacon but I live on the westcoast and loooove candied salmon so that's my first pick.

salmon is good for the brain! the candy is just bonus. Maybe the bacon might have a few too many nitrates but other than that I'm sure it's fine.

Bacon has lots of fat & sodium. Add sugar and that's like the trifecta of unhealthy. 😛
Don't get me wrong bacon is yummy!

@Anyanka Bunny Killer you should try the crack bacon at Grub....it's a secret recipe bacon that's sweet and savory/supposedly really good. (I haven't tried it but am curious)

This looked at first glance like just a variation of the old Southern standard, sugar cured bacon (or ham) with a little more sugar added, and serves as a snack, rather than a side order with eggs, grits, and biscuits, the standard country breakfast of my childhood (and the nightmare of all cholesterol counters)
