Cangel or Bangel?

I loved Cordy and Angel as friends, didn't care for it becoming more. I didn't like the way it came about to me it felt forced (sorry to those who don't agree) and I wish things could have been different than they were. So, no surprise here, Bangel is my choice.

(I'm gonna add a little love for Nina. I loved her with Angel too)

I'm a Bangel and I'm pretty stubborn about my 'ships, once I like one I dont change, so even if Angel and Cordy made the perfect couple, I'd still love Buffy & Angel. I do love the fact about Buffy and Angel that its a relationship that is there through the seasons, its mentioned in pretty much every series at least once.

I never liked the idea of Angel and Cordy, and like some of you have said, when the whole Cordy/Connor thing happened it did ruin the whole thing.

Cangel! Ship the real, true love! Tis a beautiful thing. With no real sense of doubt whatsoever.

No sense of doubt? Hahah the entire last episode of season 3 is filled with doubt. They finally plan to talk about their feelings...and we all know how that turned out.

I kind of shipped Cangel when I first started watching Angel, assuming they'd never have feelings for each other, and then when they did, it felt kind of strange to me. I think I liked it better when Cordelia annoyed the absolute crap out of Angel by putting cinnamon in his blood.

I prefer Bangel. Their angst got annoying as hell after awhile but...I just prefer it over Cangel.

Truthfully, there really isn't one Buffyverse ship that I just despise, I pretty much agree with every single canon ship, in some way or another.

Cangel! I love how they were friends at first and then grew to love each other. I think Buffy and Angel were nice together, but Cordelia would've been the one Angel grew old together with if things hadn't worked out the way they did 🙁

Cangel ♥

I don't see why people think it's rushed or out of the blue, I think it was natural and realistic, it wasn't one of those high school loves like Bangel was. Cangel had meaning, Cordelia and Angel got to know each other in the workplace, and started off friends. Naturally, those feelings developed into romantic ones.

Cangel was also so much more enjoyable to me than Bangel ever was. Bangel was all angsty and it just didn't feel as believable as other relationships. I really wish sometimes that Connor didn't go after Angel and that Skip didn't offer Cordelia a chance to be a higher being at the end of Season Three.

It kind of sucks Cordelia's whole future was basically set in stone the moment Doyle had kissed her. If she never had the visions - or at least just never have taken that offer - she wouldn't have been possessed and making out with the son of the man the real Cordelia loves. She also never would have been in that coma. Just think of how Cordelia and Angel could have really gotten a chance that way.

Cangel all the way. Their relationship was much more realistic. He grew to love her because she changed so much since high school.

Cordelia and Angel were the most grown-up relationship in the 'verse; there was no high school miasma to get over. Angel actually smiles in Cordelia's presence, and I find that telling: she's who he is most comfortable with, who he really is himself with. I'm not a fan of Angel, but even I can see that Cordelia did wonders for him, and their love was a natural progression of their friendship.
