Question Cant i love all of them?

I really liked Buffy and angel, i really thought buffy and spike brought a sexy side to the show, i thought Riley brough a little more "future" to the show..... meaning, buffy could have a real, take your husband somewhere kind of a life, go in the sun, etc.... but i think all of them helped her devolope and realize things about herself, and they all happend for a reason, and i enjoyed all the plots.

As for the other characters, oz and willow i LOVED they had fantastic banter back and forth, love oz as a character, but him leaving was necessary, for his character to find himself. Willow and tara happened durring that, and at the same time, you cant expect someone to wait while you find yourself, and I think willow and Tara were fantastic as well.

Cordy and xander were random, and working only on hate/love, and thats also reality sometimes.... love and hate are REALLY close together in the feeling area.. at the same time, xander and anya amused me. I think anya is hilarious, and I know a lot of people think that she was a waste, or shouldnt have been there as long as she was, i honostly found her very amusing... and her with xander was a good story also.

So, in conclusion... I really like all the main character relationships, and i think they all made sense.

You're not alone in liking all or a lot of ships on the show. They just voice their opinion very often and let the "wars" go on without getting involved. I like most ships but I have those I prefer and that's more or less about it. Tillow is my favourite ship but I see nothing wrong with Woz for example and I'm one of the few that doesn't mind Killow. My least favourite "big" ship is Spuffy though. It's not like it's total disaster and it has some good moments. But to me those moments are "friendship" moments and not "couple" moments. But that isn't me saying that everyone shipping Spuffy is stupid or anythng. That's just my personal opinion.

I've been able to ship Buffy with pretty much everyone. Buffy/Angel. Buffy/Spike. Buffy/Riley. Buffy/Satsu. I even love to UC ship Buffy/Faith. Buffy/Xander. Buffy/Giles. Buffy/Caleb. Buffy/Holden.

Sure you can! Though most people disagree with me, I think you can like both ships.
I'm more of the Bangel side, but Spuffy had some moments I liked too.

I have the same with Cangel and Bangel. I like both ships, but it sometimes seems here like you have to be OR Cangel OR Bangel.

I like most ships to be honest. I'am a fan of Bangel and Spuffy as i think both couples are different but in a good way. I don't think there is anything wrong with that. I enjoyed the Bangel stuff at the beginning and the connection that's still there between them. While i love the relationship that developed over time between Spike and Buffy. To be honest i just love the show :biggrin3:

I like them all also, with the exception of Spike and Buffy, and the only reason I don't like that is more from discussing it and not liking how big fans of that ship over look stuff, and the more I discussed it the more it turned into an actual dislike for Spike and Buffy.

One thing I hate more then anything is the damn words Bangel, Spuffy, Tillow, etc they annoy the crap out of me!

Well I have noticed there are people here who say they love equally both Bangel and Spuffy. I respect those people but I really don't know how they do it.

I am Bangel forever. I tried to see the good in Briley but all the time i was "ok...nice and sweet...when is Angel supposed to appear again?". And spuffy...I really tried to see what spuffies see. I can't. I always respect others' opinions of course.

I liked Cangel in theory, and I thought David and Charisma could make this work, but personally I could only see them as friends.

So...I am irredeemable, I like Buffy and Angel with each other or alone, or fighting the big fight together and souls meet in heaven...whatever!:biggrin3:

I love Willow with everyone she's been with on the show and the same can (mostly) be applied to all the other main characters as well. I think that some of the ships take a bit of time to get used to, but I credit the writers for the amazing storytelling that for the most part, makse me really enjoy everything they come up with.

I like how each relationship was like something in real life -- you never forget your first love, because you loved them, and they were your first, but you also have to move on at some point and that's okay too. And sometimes the next person swoops you up off your feet. Sometimes someone dies. Stuff happens, I guess is what I'm trying to say, and I guess I... appreciate... all the ships because each of them are lovingly tragic and awesome in their own way. 🙂

I love Cander and Xanya both, but it's little hard to explain why you love both Bangel, Briley and Spuffy because they are so much different, but as I said, it's ok to love them all 😉

I'm with you on this, I enjoy the contrast each relationship brings from a narrative perspective. If everything was about the all comsuming love of Bangel or the undefined lines of Spuffy then it would be boring. I loved the everyday failures of Ruffy and the fact it wasn't down to Fate, it was due the failures of the individuals.

Agreed with both of you on this! I do have my preferences, but I appreciate all of them.

As for Willow- Woz was sweet, fun, and 100% adorable. The perfect high school romance. Tillow was beautiful, sweet, loving, and mature. Killow had spark, and you could tell that Kennedy really cared about Willow. I love 'em all, although Tillow is my main 'ship. 😀

Xander- Cordelia and Xander had a fun and fresh dynamic, although I usually prefer the more fitting Xanya. 😀

Buffy- Spuffy is, as everyone knows, my "Specialty" 'ship. But Fuffy is also a guilty pleasure for me, it has a certain appeal, what with them having a special slayer-bond and such. 😀

Angel- I firstly 'ship him with Darla, he has such an intriguing and unique relationship with her that's filled with endless emotion and meaning. 🙂 Then with Cordelia, for many reasons. One, Cordelia looks fab with everybody (sw). Two, they had such a beautiful, genuine, sweet, mature, and all-round lovely relationship, what's not to love? Lastly, Spike, their dynamic is so fun and refreshing.

Spike- I 'ship Spike with literally everybody (Yes, that includes Connor. (sw) ), but mostly Buffy, Illyria, Angel, Darla, Fred, Spider, Xander, Lilah, and Cordelia.

Cordelia- I also 'ship her with everyone, but mostly Angel.

Lilah- The final character that I 'ship with everybody... 😀
