Car crash at Melbourne Supanova

One person is dead and another is fighting for life after a car allegedly swerved into a group of people outside a major comic convention in Melbourne.
According to police, a grey Toyota mounted a kerb on Langs Road near the Melbourne Showgrounds just after 5pm, hitting two pedestrians.
One, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.

Wow, that's terrible! As crowded as those cons get, it's lucky really that they only hit two people. "Lucky" is not the right word when someone has died, but I just mean that it could have been so much worse.
