Love Isn't Brains
When I was young(er) I always thought that I would be a teacher. It always fascinated me. When I started college though, for some reason I switched and decided that I wanted to be an English major and work in a publishing house. That lasted one semester (to which I dropped out of the English classes because I didn't like them) and I went back into teaching. I graduated with my B.S. in Elementary Education and I teach 2nd grade.
So, I would say that in my case, I did become what I always thought I'd be, with just a little speed bump on the way!
