In What's My Line Part 1, the episode starts with the gang taking a careers test, have you ever done one at school?

What result did you get? Are they at all similar to what you're doing today?

I remember taking 4 at school, I got:

Social worker
Prison guard
Pest control
and...TV presenter.

And I'm currently training to be a teacher haha.
 
I remember taking two I think, and I got psychologist for both of them. I thought that was pretty cool, and I do have the ability to look inside someone and see what's really wrong with them, but the results couldn't be further from the truth. I'm a rock star, baby! 😛

I just took a test online and got 'ISFJ: "Conservator". These people are service and work oriented - very loyal. They are good nurses, teachers, secretaries, general practitioners, librarians, middle managers, and housekeepers. 6% of the total population.'

I'm studying health and social care at college. I've not applied for uni though.

I never took one in school. I don't think they're as popular over here, I've only ever seen them on American TV shows. I did just try one online though and it said something about Criminal Justice. Err, no. I couldn't hack that at all. But it was really short and probably not a very reliable one!

Yes, it's pretty much the same in France. Actually, I did one but it didn't say a particular job, more a career field. Anyway, mine said first equestrian tourism, then something about forests and then social and foreign languages (which is what I plan to study).

I'm a UK lady too, and like I said, we did four at our school. Horses for courses 🙂

I took one 3 or 4 years ago in school and it gave you three possibilities. I still have the results...haha I got:

Psychiatrist/Psychologist
Actress
Filmmaker

I'm a film major now, minoring in psych.
 
I never took one, but I did take the personality test [MENTION=11797]ashleigh[/MENTION] mentioned. But that wasn't online; the school provided it. I got INTP: Thinker, and I searched it up.

"INTPs are one of the rarest types, accounting for about 1–5% of the population... they are frequently found in careers such as science, philosophy, law, and architecture. INTPs tend to be less at ease in social situations or in the "caring professions", although they enjoy the company of those who share their interests."

Right now, I'm not sure what I want to work as. I did attend career talks for marketing and psychology, though.

I just tried the one that was mentioned a couple times earlier. Well I think that one. It was similar if not. And I got this:

INFJ: "Author". Strong drive and enjoyment to help others. These are serious students and workers who really want to contribute. They make good therapists, general practitioners and ministers. 1% of the total population.

...can't see myself as a therapist, GP or minister either 😛 Although all the women on one side of my family work in hospitals so maybe it's a sign.

I'm finding this really interesting because, although I'm at uni studying Film & TV, I actually haven't got the foggiest idea about what kind of career I want :/
 
Lol, ah career tests...
I usually got something artsy like "artist" "singer" "poet" etc etc or (to my teacher's excitement) "diplomat"

Unfortunately we don't have such test in Germany. It is one thing about which I am really jealous about the American-school-system. 😀

Hmmm....well, I do enjoy the company of others and love to be a hostess for fun events but that's the extent of my love for "selling". Although, for the list of my possible careers nurse was at the top and I'm an animal nurse so I guess that counts!
