I'd only seen Angel through once till amazon had that bang-up-spanktastic sale a few weeks ago and I got the collector's set.

Sooo, I'm on S:3. Just finished Carpe Noctem. I forgot about this episode and how damn funny it is! David Boreanaz cracks my shit up. His whole Rico Suave deal with the body switch is just classic. Confusing Fred for a guy, Martini-ing up Lilah and making out on the desk... I loved it when he put his leg up to stop her from leaving, "Whoa.", haha, awesome stuff. The Whedon-verse has the best filler episodes ever. Ever.

OH! And when he grabs the breakfast burrito!!

Cordelia: Why are you eating...?
Angel: I'm hungry.

Haha, I also loved that episode.
It was so HILARIOUS when he mistook Wesley for Fred and tried to break up, lol.
And also funny how he suddenly had these instincts to bite people.

I just drooled over the leather pants! Anyway Lilah's face when she found out "Angel" she made out with was that old guy in his body lol!

This was one of my favorite Angel episodes. It was filler, yah, but it was great. And it just showed off the great acting abilities David has. I mean his mannerisms and persona completely changed to play the role of the old guy.
And I did love the aftermath of the Lilah/"Angel" desk smoochies. Lilah's mortified-yet-I'm-covering-it-up expression was priceless.

 

[Blondie Bear]

I enjoyed David getting to stretch his acting muscles a bit, but I felt SO BAD for Fred in this episode! When Cordy finds her crying in a corner, I just wanted to give her a big hug!

 

[Lily]

defintely one of the funniest filler episodes
i really liked when, on the odd occasion, David was able to put on his funny pants and really make his actions, mannerisms and speech humourous - and not just in the sarky/clever/witty way. It just shows how versatile he can be.

plus anytime that Lilah gets messed with is a good time in my opinion 🙂

Wow everyone loved it. I find alot of it boring. Mostly tho I think it's because I am stressed out! I hate that Angel keeps trying to get away and gets caught. Oh well. It had it's funny moments, I wont lie.
