disturbing thought...he had RUINED peoples lives for months at least..

Even with lorne gone and the artifact destroyed... he still has a LOT of money left.

Think he was reduced to penury after that, or people sued because the game was fixed.

or Angel confiscated every cent the asshole thought... Sorry didnt happen... unless angel then gave it away.

While I like that episode, the whole anti-gambling message kind of irked me; that somehow casinos magically keep their patrons their until their last penny is drained.

I worked in a casino for about nine months, and while of course the goal of any casino is to make money, they hardly want you to spend it at the same time. Like any business on the planet, they want you coming back. To quote Mike McDirmitt, you can shear a sheep many times, but skin it only once.

And also, the people who work in casinos are hardly uncaring, unfeeling monsters. We weren't supposed to tell people to stop gambling for legal purposes, but we did. MANY times. I know a lot of people disagree, but gambling IS a choice. People can, and do, stop. Hell, I enjoy craps a lot more than I should, but I know that when I can't afford to play, I don't play. I know that there isn't a single bet in any casino in the world, with the one exception of odds-behind-the-pass on a craps table, that is 50/50 or better for the player, and everyone else knows that too, and they know it as soon as they walk in the door. Gambling is designed nowadays to be a form of entertainment, just like going to the movies or, in the case of trips to Las Vegas, going on a vacation. Some people can't handle that, but there are plenty of things in life people can't handle. I really feel like gambling gets unfairly singled out.

Good points, and this is the 2nd time gambling got brought up I think.

Before we had Gunn, owing his soul for a stupid truck

But owner of that casisno, after Lorne destroyed his infernal artifact, ideas?

Anything he could be charged with?
