So are any of our English friends going to give us an update on how Alister is doing so far?
 
BEG your not the only one who didn't know either i aked around for Al in Merrick i knew he wasn't going to be here as he said, and my excuse is i never visited this part of the forum for a while, that was why and missed this thread. I gave up looking for Lyri's post! She has laughed at my lack of knowlege about it! As you do! Lyri i found it at last!


I watched the clips on the site and really love it when he gets animated!
I look forward to the poor smutz who eventually winds him up getting an Al special! hee hee....
 
Al left the castaway Island on tuesday. (Him and another castaway were 'voted off') His 'best' bits cracked me up.

So I don't understand why he hasnt come back and posted? Surely thats the first thing he'd do after 5 months away!
 
i'd imagine he'd still be in New Zealand. they all probably have to stay until the final, when they'll all meet up again.
i can't believe i missed this! curse work, i hate it. 🙁
 
Did anyone else see the thing in the Daily Mirror comparing Al to Hurley from Lost? Al lost a lot of weight in three months and Hurley lost bugger-all weight in three years 😉 It made me chuckle.
BTW the winner was Jonathan...IMO a bit of an arse but I'm happy to wait for Al's version of events to prove me wrong...that is providing he's not too grand for us mere online buddies when he gets back to reality...if he's not already doing his autobiography, Castaway Diet book, hosting some cable channel game show, trekking to Nepal, etc 😉
 
it really annoyed me that Jonathan won...he got on my nerves throughout the whole series...but like Mr. P says, i'll wait to see what Al has to say.

i read the Hurly comment in the Sun the day before the show aired...that annoyed me too.
 
I thought it was obvious from day one that Jonathan was going to win (unless voted off by the castaways).

AS for the Hurley comment, easy and obvious shot. Bit predictable really but it was The Sun 😛

I finally got home today, so obviously my first task - say hi🙂

OK, John won. John is a twat, BUT great TV value. I really hate the guy but LOVE that he won because he was convinced he would win like a million NZ dollars - all he got was a holiday. It REALLY pissed him off.

Al! welcome back to reality.

I have many questions (I watched a lot of the show) but the big question on my mind, how much friggin weight did you lose!? your clothes were hanging off you by the end.

Did john smell? if yes, describe it. i imagine it to be vile. I must admit despite his obvious assholeness he was VERY funny to watch.

Was it me or was the sexual tension between you and francie unbearable? Also I was seeing a potential romance with alistair1

You missed the awesome finale of LOST! catch up dammit!

RG - I came 7th but it really didn't matter. If you saw my 'eviction' you will see how happy I was.

WHTGTV - I lost 70lbs....which is HUGE

Lets just say that, although we ALL stank Johns odour was worse than a city dump over a cesspit.

John was, as Hassan often said, an "A-Class Prick". I saw the clips of him and he was mildly amusing, but he really was just an asshole.

Francie, in my opinion(based solely on the voting question) should have won the show. I cannot deny, I wanted a bit of her!!!

I have been asked about 20 times if I fancied Lil Al...sadly no.
 
Welcome back Al!!! I'm happy to have you here again. Unfortunately, I couldn't watch any of the show although I did see the part with the dead rat on your bed. LOL
 
Lil Al was cute...after you were voted off *(which pissed me right off) he was my choice to win...sadly, no one else shred my opinion! lol

John was annoying...the thing with Wendy was what annoyed me most. he kept saying things just to set her off. at first i felt sorry for him, but then i thought, 'well, there must be something going on. they wouldn't all act like that if there wasn't a good reason.'

I'm a new version of Alister. I have heaps more confidence, a new zest fr life and real life achieveable goals
