I love Darla,
i think she is one of the best evil characters, and i also love the flachbacks of her and angel/liam/angelus, and i also think that, she was very brave and sweet when she killed her self for baby connor, but is it just me or does anyone else think she should have stayed in the show.
but i also think that if she returned now it would be a total Catch 22 because no one could wright her back in without making it cheesy

what do you guys think
 
Yes, maybe she should have not killed herself, but having her leave for a while was a required move, to start the Connor-storyline. They should have re-introduced her later on in Season 4, then we could have a Darla/Connor storyline, but eventually she can't stay forever, but I would have liked to see some more!
 
for sure but how could they bring her back without making it cheesy, i mean once is ok to return from the dead when they have been writen out, when she was staked in buffy season one i dont think that they intened to bring her back, but they did and once againg i dont think that they intend bringing her back, but if she is raised again, i could get a little, you know repetative
 
Yes, I would! That's why the never would have let her die in the first place!
 
I voted 'I don't know'. I thought the part where she staked herself was so powerful & brilliant (like Doyle in Hero and Buffy in the Gift). It was the ultimate sacrifice. Her coming back may take away from that or ruin it.

Darla was amazing though and I'm sure she could have done so much more for the show! I would love to see more of her, even if it's flashbacks🙂 Darla is excellent!
 
Honestly, I never found Darla very special, on either BtVS or Angel. Beautiful and evil, yes, but there's a lot of that going around on those two shows. Perhaps I thought Drusilla overshadowed her--much more entertainment value, IMHO.

I did think that she and Lindsey MacDonald would have made a good couple; there was something damaged about both of them that seemed to resonate.

But by the time she staked herself, I think it was time for her to go.
 
i think you are right, but is still miss hating her though, and i totally agree with you on that whole linsey and Darla thing, but she wasnt prepared to settle down for him, but maybe if she had sired him, he could have been her new angelus, although i very much doubt that Lindsey could have made a better angelus, (uumm leather) 😀
 
He could have made a good new Angelus, well maybe not an Angelus, but a new soul-less-mate indeed! ... However if she would have stayed it would have become a little bit boring, the show has moved on!
