Yeah, where she went wrong was sending them to the parents. Should have just sent them to the coach and the gym. I've been banging that whole fear deepfake drum for years. It's only going to get worse.
 
Did the daughter get kicked of the squad?
Did the girls who were kicked off get re-instated with an apology.
Why was the mother only charged with such pitiful charges?
 
Given how vile both girls and mothers can be in competition (which includes violence, accidents that aren't accidents in tryouts, even contract killings like one mother who tried to put a hit on another mother in the hopes the daughter would be too distressed to compete against her own daughter--though of course Madison did worse already), this is pretty benign...though maybe a visit from the FBI in a child porn investigation (showing a real girl naked, even if it was a deep fake) would certainly be encouraged by me. Plus the usual lawsuits in cases like this where another is damaged by lies.
