Well of course I have an opinion of everyone...I'm sure you do too, you just haven't posted it.
I was actually commenting more on the labels given, such as MJ's Paedophile one cause we don't actually know he is.

Adam Sandler has never made me laugh. His comedy is, in my opinion, the kind that only appeals to retards and people who don't know anything about comedy so go for what they think other people like.
He is absolutely rubbish.

Yeah, far be it for me to be the voice of reason - I'm the person who, when me and Reason are both invited to the same shindig by some well-meaning mutual friend, blanks Reason because I assume Reason's going to be a real bitch about it like last time, when she couldn't even do the polite small talk thing people do at parties just for the sake of keeping the peace, for Christ's sake - but I think we do all judge Michael Jackson by normal, real world standards. No dispute that the guy is a raging oddball, but given that he's evidently trapped in a wierd, childlike twilight zone, it might be altogether plausible that his mind just doesn't work at all like a normal, real world mind. So we hear about him in bed with a kid, we jump to adult-brain conclusions - maybe he doesn't? Maybe he's a real-life Boo Radley?

Russell Brand... I used to hate, until I saw his Ian Huntley/ The Sun/ War in Iraq rant, which was a work of absolute, teary-eyed genius. I have to say, I do find the guy interesting now. I don't think I got him before. That said, I think he might be on the old drugs again, which is a shame...

They're all probably morons..but obviously I don't know them personally. So I don't know either way.

I think Tom Cruise gets a lot of unnecessary flak because he's currently one of those celebs that it is 'cool' to make fun of. He's an actor, I can really only judge him on his talent as an actor. Do his movies do well because of his looks? I really don't think so.

What was it Mel Gibson did anyway? Was it a drunken rant about Jews being complicit in the murder of Jesus, or something? Not sure why he was taking potshots at that. The one high point in Jewish history. 🙂

I should have added Billie Piper to the list. Actually I like Billie Piper, but we North Americans rarely get an opportunity to use the word "Chav". 🙂
 
I'm Scottish, the word chav means nothing to me. If it did have meaning I'd probably emblazon it as the definition of Americans. This topic would be more interesting if it was 'Buffy board member you like the least'.

They already have their own term for chav. Over there it's trailer trash.

Don't get me started on chavs and townies. Can't stand the annoying, uneducated, scruffy, poor excuses for human beings. There is an entire area of our local shopping centre that has been ruined by it being the meeting place of choice for the local chav and townie society. You can't move for Burberry baseball caps and white trainers. Absolute nightmare.
 
Unless telecommunications haven't caught on up North, I would have thought Chav would be fairly familiar. I'm on a different landmass, and I've heard it. 'Roundabouts here we say Skanger though, although a Skanger is best exemplified by Colin Farrell in Intermission, rather than Billie Piper. Skangers are slightly scummier than standard Chavs, for instance. As I understand Chavs, people tend to mock them primarily for having ideas above their station in terms of logos and whatever. I kinda have reservations about the snobbery that seems to come with the term, to be honest.

But just as Skanger doesn't directly translate to Chav, neither directly tranlates to trailer trash, so you can't really have a British Skanger or Irish Trailer Trash or American Chavs. The cultures are different.

Trust me, Jill. That is the least of the problem that most people I know have with chavs.

If there was a least favourite member thread, I'd imagine it would be like the later voting rounds of the Weakest Link - you know, nine people in a row say "John", and then John says "Alice" and all ten of them diminish as human beings for having taken part.
 
Whether or not they are 'labels' - these peope have drama ALL around them. Most of it they create, or it is created off of something stupid they did. So frankly I don't really feel badly for not liking a celebrity based off their 'persona' that I am assuming they had a pretty good hand in creating. Inadvertently or not.

And the question was "Are there celebrities who just gross you out as people to the point you don't want to listen to their music, read their books, see their movies, or watch them on TV." Legitimate question in my books.

My number one...TOM FRICKEN CRUISE. The guy is WAY too out there for me. For most people I assume. I'm so sick of him. And YES it affects whether or not I want to see his movies. I don't.

I also despise the whole drama that Britney, Paris, and Lindsay have going on. They are best friends. No they aren't. Yes they are. Someone is on the floor drunk. Someone else is naked on the Internet. There they are together again. Whatever.

I also dislike Madonna...I used to like her but I don't know..something about her rubs me the wrong way. So I don't listen to her music.

I should have voted "Other" as well..to add Brangelina." I HATE the two of them together..that whole thing just left a bad taste in my mouth 😉

OJ is a despicable man any way you look at it.
