Certain Cast Images in the opening credits for season 1 I never saw in the episodes

When I was watching the season1/2 Buffy opening credits some of the cast images I dont ever remember seeing the episodes there from. For example Charisma's cast image with the blue turtle neck when she rolls her eyes that's from "Never Kill a Boy On The First Date" but I dont remember seeing that in the episode.

And for Alyson when she smiles in her first cast image of the credits that's from "Angel" but I dont remember seeing it in the episode.

Make sense?

I know what you mean, but I can't think of any I noticed that I didn't recognise. They're such tiny moments sometimes though, you must miss a few.

When I was younger I always used to set myself this challenge of trying to guess the episode the clip is taken from at break-neck speed during the credits, lol. I don't think I ever did it!

I don't know about the scene with Cordelia, but I also noticed Alyson's smile.
I watched the scene where it should be hundreds of times, but I never found the moment where she smiles like that.

Well, my explanation would be this:
When you shoot a movie you (almost) always shoot a scene a few times, so you can choose which one of the takes is best and take that one.
They probably took different takes of the scenes for the credits than they did for the actual episodes.
That's the only thing I could think of. And believe me, I thought hard 😀

I don't know. Everytime I rewatch seasons 1 and 2, I always notice Cordy's eye roll. 😛
