It comes out on August 29th, which, luckily for me, is a LONG weekend! 🙂 Otherwise I may not show up to work because I'd be locked to my Xbox!!!! 🙂

For now I have been re-playing the first Buffy game to tide me over. But I can't wait..Willow is a playable character! Along with I believe 12 others!

And there's a Bunnies game, in honour of Anya, you have to kill the bunnies! Okay that sounds way worse than I thought it would!

But in September's issue of Xbox magazine there was a preview/review article on it The last Buffy game got rated 9.0 (which is really good, Halo was a 9.5, oh and btw I'm also addicted to that!!!!)

Is anyone else going to run out and buy this game?

It comes out October 24th over in Uk!
I need to know whether you can play the whole game as one character, or you HAVE to play different characters on different missions.
I know theres only six playable characters. Sorry to burst your bubble.

Man, you X-BOX people have all the friggin' fun! LOL. All I own is a GAMECUBE....although I did hear somewhere they might release CHAOS BLEEDS for my system. I hope so, as I missed out on playing the first Buffy game.

Yes, that's right...even Old Masters like me play video games. LOL. And why not? They're immersive, fun, and sometimes help take your mind off a bad day. 😀

i thought it was sept 12th??
anyway i will camp out side the shop the night b4 and wait for this game lol

I believe in Arena mode you can play more. But I did hear that the ones you mentioned are the only playable characters during the game. What I want is co-op play, playing Buffy and Faith side-by-side with someone would be awesome!!!!! 🙂

And I believe you need to play certain characters at certain times. There are spaces so small that only Sid the Dummy can be used, demons that can only be defeated by magic etc.

I will be playing it all that weekend so I will let you know how it is!! I'm sure it's going to rock!

Oh and Chaos Bleeds is available on Xbox, PS2, and Gamecube! It's the first title that was Xbox specific. It was because the graphics were too heavy/good for the other systems. Apparently the graphics won't be as good in this game as the first because it is available on other platforms, but I don't mind!

Your in luck! Chaos Bleeds will be avalible on the Gamcube! 🙂
I have an X-Box and PS2 but Im gonna buy it on the PS2!
Oh and Redslayer theres something like 20 something characters you can play in the arena modes!!! I think one of them is Oz. I know you can play as Anya and Tara in arena's and stuff! (YAY!)
None of my friends like Buffy, so I cant play it with anyone 🙁
Anyway! Please PM me and tell me about it when you have the time. Tell me all about Anya 😉

Youre probably right in that its September 12th, its just that on play.com, it says the release date is October 24th, so I dont know!

It was Sept 12th on Play few weeks back, its Oct 24th on GAME's site aswell so I guess it got pushed back. If I can afford it I want to get four games in October, Buffy (altho MITE be gettin that for free, not probable though), F-Zero GX, Viewtiful Joe and SSX 3
 
oh i can't wait till it comes out. i don't have any of the buffy video games so i'm dying for this on to come out cause my brother has a PS2. i want x-box but don't got the money right now. I have a question would it be better to buy an x-box then get both buffy games on x-box OR buy an x-box and get the first game then get the second one for PS2?

Ive just looked and Chaos Bleeds, will be coming out in the UK (according to play.com at least) on October 24th, on the PS2, X-Box AND congrats Old Master on the Gamecube! (I know you dont live in the UK, but its coming out on Gamecube for ya! 😉)

Well here is a brief bit about the differences:

PS2- Worse graphics and effects and stuff (not bad just not as good as the others) but I hear an exlusive James Marsters interview will be on it (not confirmed)
GC- Better graphics etc
Xbox- Best graphics etc

It might be best and cheapest to see if you can find someone with an Xbox, maybe pay em a bit to borrow it and rent the 1st game.

Taryn, the game is coming out on GC, PS2 and Xbox only sorry.

TMS, yeah its nice and cheap on play.com. Got my friends DVDs from there last year.
 
Well I'm a huge Xbox fan, the graphics, gameplay, and loading time are far superior to any other system available at present. And the harddrive is massive. The reason the first game wasn't out on other systems was because they couldn't handle the graphics. So the graphics are supposed to be better even in the second game (for the xbox) despite the fact it's being released on PS2 and Gamecube.

Xbox magazine did mention the unconfirmed James interview and how it will only be available on the PS2 version, but it doesn't bother me at all!

Cool thanks!!!! I will be sure to tell you, I just checked again and it is still being released next friday here in Canada (yay 6 days!)

I really wish their was a multiplayer function though! I LOVE Halo in co-op play, and this game would be awesome in co-op!!!!
 
The spiders were cool if you kicked them just right, towards a nearish wall 😛 as for chaos bleeds, I'm not too convinced about the game, although last Months Xbox World did have a preview disc with interviews from Joss and James Marsters which was a nice little treat, but the game did look slow paced... but you can break into buildings now...

I do however wish they'd stuck with the Co-op on Xbox Live rumour...
 
[I really hope they dont have the Spiders again! They were so annoying! Arghh! And the Dreamers Realm from number one was such a pain! But I totally kicked the Masters ass on the last level!

OMG i hated the spiders!!
mainly cos im aracnophobic lol but they were annoying!
and the end was a little dissapointing cos the master was soo easy to kill!!
