What did you think of the episodes that focused on a character, that wasn't the title character? Would you have liked to see more of them or was there enough already? I love the character focused ones like, Angel, Doppelgangland, Fredless and Birthday.

It's either a hit or miss. You have to like the character the episode revolves around enough.

Harm's Way was fun.

Though sometimes some of the earlier episodes where Angel meets some random woman that needs help reminds me of the old 90210 show..where Brandon Walsh met a new girl every episode with a new problem...and then you never see that girl again. lol What comes to mind is the woman in "She"

It depends on who the character is and what the story is for that episode. Sometimes character focused episodes can be a sort of "one shot" and have nothing to do with the storey line in that season, or it can be related to the storey in some way.

Iv'e liked most of them though, i think it gets you closer to that character as such, or atleast you find out more about them at times, as sometimes the character focused ep is the most you see of them for a while.

All in all I liked the focused episodes. Sometimes they gave us informations about the past of a character like Angel or they made me laugh like Xander in "Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered"! I like them because they bring something fresh into the seasons and sometimes a great information-addiction to a character. So you could understand them more easlily. I wished there would have been some more, exspecially for Tara. I think there was justone for her when her family wants her to rejoin the family.

Mostly I didn't love them unless they were about Giles (who saw THAT coming) but I liked them all right.
