If some of the characters had theme songs i would have;
Easier To Run or What I've Done by Linkin Park for Faith,
Nobody's Fool by Avril Lavinge for Cordy,
Nobody's Home by Avril Lavinge for Dawn and
Getting Away With Murder by Papa Roach for Warren.

What do you think? If you think other characters have a song that suits them let me know.

(yes i am a fan of Avril Lavinge and Linkin Park)

bad to the bone or rebel yell for spike hehe!
i did two spike youtubes to them songs...they worked pretty well LOL

the Sid Vicious My Way would be a good one too, and hey he has even sang it before :)
I did this Dawn video once with the song Overprotected by Britney Spears, so obviously I think that song suits Dawn very well.

If certain episodes had certain songs that fitted them really well I reckon that Greenday - Wake Me Up When September Ends would be perfect for Chosen.

Certain lines fit really well. For instance;
The innocent can never last
Fits in with the potentials because they're innocent and they keep getting killed.

seven years have gone so fast
Buffy was on for seven years.

never forgets what I've lost
Buffy lost Spike and all of her belongings cause they fell in the crater that is now Sunnydale.

Oh I have loads of songs that I think go with characters, eps, seasons etc.

It works best if you listen to the songs while reading the lyrics.

For Buffy's death in "The Gift" and her subsequent resurrection in "Bargaining" I think Lonely Soldier by Damien Rice and Christy Moore really reflects Buffy's emotional state but seen through the eyes of the Scoobies, especially Giles and Spike. Complicated much?

Lonely Soldier go home,
Lonely, but never alone..
Good eyes, see nothing to shoot
Good feet, feel good, givin' up good boots

Ask your father how'd you fall
Ask your father how'd you fall
Like a leaf, sitting on the ground
Good for nothing, except kicking around..

She died with her hand stretched out
She died with a hungry mouth
She died with her mind full of doubt
and thoughts of weakening..
And so may your river never dry
May your mouth never lie
May you be satisfied to never know why
Sometimes, someone just wants to die...

Where did you get those cuts on your hand?
I thought I told you bout playin in the sand
There's always someone careless with glass
There's always questions no one won't ask

She died with her hand stretched out
She died with a hungry mouth
She died with her mind full of doubt
and thought of weakening..
May your river never dry
May your mouth never lie
May you be satisfied to never know why
Sometimes, someone just wants to die...

So Lonely Soldier go home,
Lonely, but never alone..
Good eyes, see nothing to shoot
Good feet, feel good, givin' up good boots

Univited by Alanis Morrisette, I think describes Buffy's changing feelings towards Spike during seasons 5 and 6. The lyrics almost fit perfectly.

Like anyone would be
I am flattered by your fascination with me
Like any hot-blooded woman
I have simply wanted an object to crave
But you, you're not allowed
You're uninvited
An unfortunate slight

Must be strangely exciting
To watch the stoic squirm
Must be somewhat hard telling
To watch them burn me shepherd
But you you're not allowed
You're uninvited
An unfortunate slight

Like any uncharted territory
I must seem greatly intriguing
You speak of my love like
You have experienced love like mine before
But this is not allowed
You're uninvited
An unfortunate slight

I don't think you unworthy
I need a moment to deliberate.

I have loads more, I'll post them later🙂

Billy Idol - White Wedding for Spike.

I could go into the meanings of his and Buffy's relationship, but really it's just a good rock song and Billy Idol looks like Spike.

These are old songs, so you'll just have to accept that they do exist and that they're appropriate for the respective relationships unless you want to go to the trouble of hunting them down.

Spuffy--"Help Me Make It Through The Night"
Bangel--"For The Good Times"
Tillow--"My Buddy" or "That Old Black Magic"
Xanya--"I've Got You Under My Skin"
Cangel--"People Will Say We're In Love"
Fuffy--"Two Lost Souls"
And Just For Giles--"The King's Soliloquie (Is A Puzzlement)" from "The King And I"

This is the most perfectest song for Angel! I Am a Vampire - Antsy Pants

YouTube - I Am a Vampire

It reminds me of when Spike is mocking Angel in In the Dark and he is talking about how he has been defanged and when the lyrics say "all the pretty girls won't look at me..." its like his gypsy curse thing how he can't really have any girls.

Olaf- If I Had A Hammer

spuffy- violent by four star mary (im a big fan... of spuffy and four star mary)

the strangest things
i've always known
it slays me everytime
darkened fields
have overgrown

you want to lay me out?
tie me down?
tie me

our love
covered in my blood
is so violent

shake this scene
another one
it plays me everytime
we're not that green
we're overdone

you want to lay me out?
tie me down?
tie me

our love
covered in my blood
is so violent

Spike - Welcome Home - four star mary
crashing down in london town
it seems so long coming down
cause i remember
i remember
another day filled with rain
another night screaming "Pain"
it frightens me to think it could fade

home is far away
home is far away

given life to meanings end
a brand new face...a truer friend
do you remember?
do you remember?
im coming back ill see you then
the cold room where it began
you pulled me up before i knelt to pray

home is far away
home is far away

long drives
the sound of "Turnpike"
tearing through your golden countryside
white lights shining from the sky
my one regret was that i couldnt stay

home is far away
home is far away

i cant see you
i can leave you
you wont leave my mind
i cant see you
i cant leave
you wont leave my mind

You really found the best one for Olaf. :) Ellen made me love that song.
Tara & Willow (as I saw clips of them already): My Immortal - Evanescence
What Have You Done - Within Temptation fits for all the "violent" relationships in Buffy
