Completly ripped from Charmed: The Prophecy but ah well.

Below are the first lines said by the characters, do you think they give any insight into the characters? (Will add more as I get them)

Buffy: (sitting up) I'm up, Mom!
Willow: Oh, really?
Xander: 'Scuse me, comin' through, pardon me, 'scuse me, whoa! 'Scuse me, not sure how to stop! Please move, whoa, 'scuse me... (notices Buffy) Whoa!
Giles: Can I help you?
Joyce: (off camera) Buffy?
Darla: Are you sure this is a good idea?
Angel: Ah, heh. Is there a problem, ma'am?
Cordelia: Hi! I'm Cordelia. (offers her hand)
Mr. Flutie: Buffy Summers, sophomore, late of Hemery High in Los Angeles. Interesting record, quite a career...
Master: I am weak.
Harmony: Are we going to the Bronze tonight?
Amy: (comes over) Hi!
Ms. Calendar: Scan it, Rupert. That's scan it.
Snyder: So. We think school events are stupid, and we think authority figures are to be made fun of.
Spike: Go get something to eat.
Drusilla: Miss Edith speaks out of turn. She's a bad example, and will have no cakes today. Shhhh.
Ethan: Please, let me.
Kendra: I tink it is funny now. Dat girl. De one I saw you wit before?
Angelus: I feel just fine.
Faith: Hey!
Trick: Diet soda. Medium.
Mayor Wilkins: I'm not bothered, Allan.
Anya: Nice bag. Prada?
Riley: I'm okay. It's okay. Well, that was bracing.
Tara: "I thought maybe we could do a spell - make people talk again. I'I'd seen you in the group, the wicca group you were... you were different than them. I mean they didn't seem to know..." (Although technically she mouths "help" first)
Buffy and Dawn (in unison): Mom!
or by herself:
Dawn: Can we go now?
Glory: There you are. I have been looking all over for you.
Warren: We gotta go, she's gonna see me.
Andrew: We can do that
Kennedy: Not if Dawn actually wants to sleep. Molly'll talk her ear off.
Wood: I'm Robin Wood. New principal.
Caleb: Call me Caleb. Never was nobody's daddy.
Jenny/The First: (with false sympathy) Trouble sleeping?
Jonathon: Your hands feel kinda... rough.
Wesley: Of course, training procedures have been updated quite a bit
since your day. Much greater emphasis on field work.
Doyle: I like the place. I mean it?s not much with the view, but it has a nice bat-cave sort of an air to it.
Kate: Are you okay?
Gunn: You expecting somebody else?
Fred: Don't do that!
Lorne: (singing)First I was afraid. I was petrified. Kept thinking I could never live without you by my side. But then I spent so many nights thinking how you done me wrong, and I grew strong. And I learned how to get along.
(speaking)Oh, you know what I'm talking about. In this city you better learn to get along. Because LA's got it all: The glamour and the grit, the big breaks and the heartaches, the sweet young lovers and the nasty, ugly, hairy fiends that suck out your brain through your face. It's all part of the big wacky variety show we call - Los Angeles. You never know what's coming next. And lets admit it folks: Isn't that why we love it?
Connor: Hi. Dad.
Holtz: Where is she?
Eve: Hi. It's really neat to see you guys. (smiles)
Lawyer: "Mr. Winter, the Eltron merger is a go. They caved on everything after you negotiated with their CFO. We?ll bring the papers by your office tomorrow."

Lindsey and Lilah are harder because they are classed as "lawyer" at first so I'm not sure about them.

-edit-
Added Lindsey.

I was more hoping of a discussion about if it reflects the character rather then the looks of Angelus 😛

I think that Angelus,Angel,Dru,Anya and Dawn's 1st words gave us quite a lot of insight..Not to mention that Angelus's words were sexy🙂

I'm sorry AshSan lol😛...Thanks for sharing all this info....btw,Dawn's first words are lame lol😛...

EDIT: Wait,...isn't Dawn's first word on the show 'Mom!'?😛

Buffy and Dawn (in unison): Mom!
or by herself:
Dawn: Can we go now?

Just depends if you count her and buffy or just her.

I think Dru's ranmblings fit her character, Giles' helping, Harmony's dependency on other people, Synder's dry sarcasm and bitterness and Connor's just 'cause!

Oh,well,..lol...whatever,...I don't care Dawn anyway lol😛

''Ms. Calendar: Scan it, Rupert. That's scan it.''

Sounds funny to me...dunno why lol😛

Actaully, Johnathan had made an appearance in season 1, I don't remember if he said anything. In season 2 (Inca Mummy Girl) he says, "Aren't you here with Xander?" OR SOMETHING TO THAT EFFECT.

About Xander, he screamed things at people when he was on the skateboard...Can't remember what exactly...
And Tara said something in the Wicca group before that. It wasn't much she said, but she said something...
And Jonathan has definetely said something before that (and btw, it wasn't actually him thinking he was gonna kill the others, that was the cafeteria lady!), he has been in the show a long time, making appearances inbetween. I'm 100% sure he said things before that.
Just saying...I'll come and discuss what it can say about the characters tomorrow...I'm too tired right now lol

Xander said "Heads up, woah..." yeah I spose.
Tara said "actually" maybe but I think she just made a noise
Havn't seen much of season two.
The "I'm going to kill everyone.." is blended between the cafeteria lady and jonathan, says on the commentary.

Yeah, Jonothan had a lot of little lines in season 2 and throughout season 3. I just want to say that the best Jonothan line was in "Dead Man's Party" when Buffy is being confronted by her friends and she asks if anyone else wants to give her a hard time, she asks if the guy by the dip (Jonothan) wants to add anything. Jonothan just stares at her with a chip in his hand and goes "No, I'm good" Classic scene although has nothing to do with the conversation. And Buffy was reading the cafeteria ladies thoughts, not Jonothan, Jonothan was going to kill himself not anyone else.

Oh and Warrens and Calebs first words seem to reveal alot about them. Warren running from a woman is sort of a prophecy of sorts about his confrontations with Buffy and his views towards women.

But they did blend a male and cafeteria woman's voice to make it confusing, it said so in the commentary. Amended some mistakes above.

Tara doesn't say anything:

wicca2: "Yeah, Tara. Guys.. quiet."
holds hand up for quiet
wicca2: "do you have a suggestion?"
Tara (Wicca 3) just shakes her head and looks down, but
then she looks at Willow.

Is where she is first seen, then after that everythings silent.

Riley: I'm okay. It's okay. Well, that was bracing.
I think that summed up the characters whole experience with Buffy, lol..

Yeah, but before that wicca2 said that, didn't Tara say "I think..." or something similar. I'm pretty sure she said something.

Yeah, Tara says ''I think that-'' then she's interrupted, and stops talking...

I'll pop in Hush tomorrow and have a gander, I'm sure your right though. This is just from the transcripts online.

I really like Angel's first words because they are really contradictary to him. When he speaks he seems to have a teasing personality but in reality he's a brooding soulful vampire.
