Characters I don't like that much

Geez, what's your problem? Just because I'm not a fan of Willow you have to get all sarcastic and smart with me?

I think your problem is that you are misunderstanding the meaning of "do not like" and "dislike". If I do not like Willow it just means exactly that. I lack any likeness for her. That doesn't mean I dislike her, it just means that I don't like her. As I said previously, I'm pretty indifferent about her.

Dislike
Pronunciation: (")dis-'lIk, 'dis-"
Function: noun
1 : a feeling of aversion or disapproval
2 : to not like

If i say anymore it just makes you look silly....oh well.
To dislike and not like are the same thing. You seem to have mistakenly matched indifference and dislike together, thats where you are wrong. YOU have the problem of misunderstanding what words mean, not me.
IF you gave a reason that was fine i wouldn't have an issue with your dislike of her.

I'd just like to interject here about the major characters on Buffy-I can't say there was any one of them that I "disliked" overall, but for the long-running ones my affection for them went through different stages over the duration of the series. Willow for example-I adored her from her first appearance in "Welcome to the Hellmouth". My "infatuation" with her endured as she got older and changed-her becoming a witch, finding out she was gay-right through the end of Season 5. But in Season 6 I started feeling uneasy about her, she seemed just too strong with her witchcraft and too reckless about what she was doing. I found the whole resurrection business more than a little bit horrifying. In "Tabula Rasa" Willow promises Tara she'll give the magic a rest for a month and right away proceeds to attempt another spell on her lover's mind. And then in Season 7-I sort of felt her character was in some way "spent". Having achieved so much power the season before, where does a character go from there?

This is a good reason for going off her character. See, its explained why, other then tosh about her having the occasional funny line and being plain, like.

PS i agree with Watcher1006 on the use of her in season 7. I kinda got the feeling that the Scythe Spell was just a way to have her in the finale doing something.

How about all of season 3 of Buffy where they are dating and making out just not having sex? How is that not irresponsible?

He knew that the feelings he had for Buffy were real, he knew that his moment of perfect happiness was born in the peace of love making, ergo, he believed he could handle not being that intimate with her but still be with her.
When he truly realised that was impossible, and this is not because the Mayor or Joyce told him so, he decided to end it, he decided he had to move away.
That is not irresponsible at all.

the rest, who cares, you just see it differently than me. Like I said though, his irresponsibility about his soul is just 1 thing that I disliked about Angel. I also disliked his blandness and the fact that he murdered Jenny
Yes i do, i see them as they are, correctly, as opposed to your way.
The only time he didnt give a funk over his soul was Darla and there were mitigating circumstances, no other time.

I find it highly amusing that you perceive a character as Bland yet watch a show centered on that character....amusing:ip:

K
Kimm
As always....I agree 100%
W
Wicked
Again I actually agree :)
The only character I can say I completely didn't like was Dawn.

Sure...I had my moments with all of them where I was thinking, "You're an idiot!!" but I really did like them all.

E
Edmund Blackadder
i dont rep you half as much as i should...so merry christmas:)

A good reason, yes, and all explained. It was an awesome storyline but in the end I still felt somehow that I'd lost the Willow that I'd loved so much earlier.

It was more than just her rampage in the last three episodes. It was a theme of the whole season.

i can honestly say that there was never a main character on either show that i disliked...or did not like , which, btw, DDLM is right about.
every character that appeared in the opening credits i liked, in his or her own way. (yes, including Riley!)

the only character that i can hold my hand up and honestly say that i hated was Kennedy. she just got on my nerves!!

i dont like kennedy or tara. anyone who moves in after oz and willow break up is evil to me 🙂

besides, kennedy's character just seemed "overplayed". like she was trying too hard to be badass when that wasnt her nature

I didn't like spike after season 4! He had his moments but mostly he was a bore!

I didn't like Riley that much when I found out he was a military guy. I liked him better when I thought he was a normal guy. I couldn't stand Eve. I think she was just trying too hard to fill Lilah's shoes. Lindsey, I liked him in season 1 but in season 2, he annoyed me with his whole crush on Darla. I started to like him again when he joined the good guys in season 5 but he didn't last too long after that. Connor also annoyed me in season 4 of Angel because of his hate for Angel and his thing with Cordelia *shudders* I thought he was okay in season 3 and I loved his appearances in season 5.

I hated Skippy, that kangaroo got way too much screen time.:scared20:

Can I despise the First?

So bloody useless.::cd::

I'm more evil than the First.:demon:

I didnt like connor all that much. Poorly acted. Make that very poorly acted. You would've thought that the son of two uber cool vampires, Angel and Darla would have at least have an ounce of coolness. but no. I didnt see it. And getting it on with cordelia! Where the hell did that come from! She was like his mother!

I could just about stand to watch his performance in season 5 but honestly, I dont think I've ever hated a character on a television programme so much!

Poorly acted? Are you serious?

Vincent kartheiser is one of the better actors to appear on either show.

Angelus makes the Hamlet reference, so they knew what they were doing did the writers....

but me personally, i never saw it.
She babysat him for what, a month? Then she went of he was kidnapped and then came back a hormoned up teenager and Cordy was hot.......

In my opinion I thought his portrayal of Connor was truly cringe worthy.

At the first time we saw him when he arrived through the portal and said 'hello dad' or something like that, at the end of that episode I cringed like I never have before. I truly think another actor could've portrayed this potentially uber cool character, alot better.

I think his portrayal of an adolescent boy who blames his father for all his troubles was spot on.

How can u hate so many important characters, the show must have just annoyed you?

Oooh. That reminds me. There was a poster on another forum, (I don't think they post here), that said the only season of Buffy they liked was season1. They absolutely despised seasons 2 to 7.

What the hell? Then why did they watch it, if they hated it??

You get some crazy people out there... None moreso than me.:tongue2:

Black Eye Guy
Black Eye Guy
lmao, That is so stupid!!
I forgot about Conner. I really didnt like him. Nothing to do with his acting. The character just annoyed me.

Connor is probably the only character I really hated. Sure he might be "realistic" and stuff, I don't care, I can't stand him which makes watching the episodes he's in totally annoying.

only one character i hated with a fiery passioin and that kennedy. everyone else GO SCOOBIES ITS UR BIRTHDAY OR SOMETHING TO THAT EFFECT 🙂

and on angel i didn't like connor.
