Characters I miss from season 1-4

Here's a list of the characters I wish were still around in the Buffy-verse. Sucks that they had to die/leave.

5)Larry- He wasn't in alot of episodes, but he was so hilarious in the ones he was in

4)Ethan Raine- Although some people are mixed about him, I thought he was ar really good sub villain and he made Giles more complex in season 2, helped flesh out his character.

3) Jenny Calender-One of those actors who you feel really bad for, I actually consider her one of the first scoobs who wasn't one of the orignal four (Buffy, Giles, Willow, Xander). Hell, she was a member of the Scooby gang before the name was phrased.

2) The Mayor- In my opinion the best Buffy big bad ever. So cheesy, yet so vicious all at the same time.

1) Oz- Damn, not only do I miss the whole Oz/Willow relationship, but Oz was just so cool. I realy wish plans went through for him to come back in season seven, but alas things fell through and we have no clue where Oz is.
 
hmm i kinda liked oz but i liked him more in angel....too much like a classic male in buffy...looking at other women etc etc lol

jenny yer i miss her cause i really wanted giles to have a partner..
 
Definitely, definitely the Mayor. He was the business. So pally and friendly, and then suddenly vicious and evil. It was nice to see him crop up as the First, briefly in season 7. The chat he had with Faith reminded me of how great the dynamic was between them in season 3.

Aside from that, I do have a soft spot for Jenny Calendar, but for different reasons 😉

Oh and by the way, I think everyone will agree with me when I say I really miss Adam above all others. I was in absolute tears when I heard he wouldn't be returning to the show. My mum had to try and console me with hugs.

He was the most complex, well-acted, deep, perfectly-rounded character the series ever had, by a mile. I'm amazed that he didn't get his own spin-off sitcom where he could get into amusing misunderstandings with his neighbours.

I may not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but I think I see a wee bit of sarcastic quote mark usage in that Adam diatribe, Ripper. It's hard to detect, it being so subtle, but I think it's definitely there. 🙂

I agree with Larry, The Mayor, Oz and Jenny. Not so sure on Ethan, there was something about him that bugged me. I miss Faith too, I know she pops up in Season 4 and Season 7 but not as a regular and I think her character was so well written and acted etc.
 
Woohoo! Oz lovers unite! Hostile_17, of course we know where Oz is... he's currently waiting patiently in Istanbul.🙂

Excluding Oz, I miss the Mayor the most. He had a sick sense of humor that I thought made him adorable. And, weirdly, I almost cried at the message he left for Faith to discover in Season 4's 'This Year's Girl'.

Jenny, Larry, Faith - all had the potential of being written even deeper than they were in the show.

I'm not so sure about Ethan... not that he was dull, but his character wasn't spicy enough.

Other characters that we didn't know a whole lot about, but they could've been expanded through a couple seasons:
- definitely Freddie & Nancy from 'Earshot'
- as always Chantaralle/Lily/Anne
- Percy
- Scott Hope
- Jesse
- Mr. Platt (guidance counsler killed in 'Beauty and the Beasts')
 
I feel sorry for all the characters, that they're not around anymore, but I can't say they should have been in season five, six and/or seven. If the show would have continued, I think both Ethan and Oz should've come back in one way or another.

Woah woah woah, ~*Angel's_Girl*~, that is completely off. I know for a fact that Seth enjoyed working with SMG because he made a comment about it in 'Wild at Heart' DVD commmentary.

He left because he was suppose to be a main character, but his screen time was so limited. With a character as quiet and laid back as Oz, it's pretty hard to give him that many storylines and dialogue. He left because, technically, he got bored with having nothing to do.

^Yep, that's true.🙂 I decided to pull the exact quote from the Wild at Heart commentary just for the heck of it:

Wow Ripper, you just inspired my new piece of fan fic: "Nobody Loves A.D.A.M". A.D.A.M moves into a condo where he must deal with racism and having to convince the Landlord ( Played by Bob Saggat) that he is gay so he can continue living with the hot co-eds ( The Hilton Sisters) but also joining him in his wachy adventures will be the wacky neighbor who has get rich quick schemes, Willie The Snitch. I smell an oscar
 
hostile, that's fantastic! maybe we should pitch this to the WB as a joint project? It would certainly put a novel spin on the tired old sitcom formulas.......

Hmm...maybe this is a little off topic...it should've been posted in the spinoff thread!!! LOL...I'm just kidding!!! But what a great idea 😉 I'd help pitch in to create it 🙂 LOL
