Characters in Hogwarts houses

So yeah, I was bored today and what better way to pass the time than to combine two of my favourite fandoms? Meaning HP and Buffy, of course. So what houses do you think the AtS and BtVS characters would be in and why?

My (incomplete, because I really need to rewatch AtS) list:

Buffy would definitely be in Gryffindor. No explanation needed.

Willow would either be in Ravenclaw or Slytherin. She obviously has the smarts and ambition to be in either, with both a deceitful (power-hungry, controlling) and loyal side.

Xander would be in Gryffindor. Hufflepuff, perhaps the more obvious option, is more for hard-working people, which Xander... not so much. He's brave and loyal--fits the bill to a tee.

Giles would be in Ravenclaw. Being knowledge guy and all. Prefers reason (killed Ben to stop Glory).

Oz would be... Ravenclaw. He's too much of a slacker to be in Hufflepuff, and Slytherin is out of the question. Gryffindor doesn't really fit.

Angelus would be Slytherin, Angel would be... Gryffindor? But he's not brash. Just brave and noble.

Spike would be either Slytherin or Gryffindor. I put him as Slytherin first because it's the 'evil' house (and the cunning bit), but now that I think about it, I think Gryffindor suits him more. He's rash, brave, and dead loyal to select people in all his incarnations (except when he was human William, in which case, Ravenclaw).

Anya, Slytherin.

Tara, Hufflepuff.

Riley, Hufflepuff. "You don't understand. I'm good at things. That's what I do. I work hard, apply myself, get it done."

Fred, Ravenclaw.

Faith, Gryffindor. Nothing else fits.

Dawn... Um. Gryffindor or Hufflepuff. Probably the former. I think.

Travers, Slytherin.

I'd list Xander among the hard-working people seeing how much he'd accomplished at construction and the many promotions he'd received because of his hard-working. He became the head of his own crew at the age of 19 which is very impressive.

I'll admit, I was thinking more of the high school years when I said he wasn't a hard worker. He was great at construction/carpentry, though, but besides that, hard working wasn't one of Xander's prominent trait. So I still say Gryffindor suits him more, since he was consistently and frequently shown to be courageous and loyal.

I guess to be a hard-worker you have to be passionate about something. Xander was never into studying the same way Willow was, therefore, he slacked, but came contruction and it was something he really liked and he busted his ass at it and did really well.

But I agree with you that Gryffindor suits him more.

"Northwest Passage," with Spencer Tracy, Robert Young, and Walter Brennen. It's the first time that I have ever sat down and watched the whole thing, start to finish, without interruptions. Great movie, fantastic actors, I highly recommend it for anyone who appreciates a great adventure story and legendary actors from the pre-CGI era.

Isn't Drusilla a bit too crazy and bad for Ravenclaw??? And they like to put families in the same houses, so I'd put Dawn in Gryffindor.

FIRST OF ALL, I would like to say that this thread is an awesome idea!

And this is what I have to add to the thread:

I think that Wesley would definitley be a rogue wizard who wields a shotgun, and uses magic with his hand as opposed to a wand. Because hes a complete badass.

Ooh, this is awesome! I don't agree with all the choices for Hufflepuff, though--the tumblr user seemed to put background characters in Hufflepuff, when really, Hufflepuff people are just humble and hardworking. Like putting Oz there, totally off.
