I was trying to make a list (in the shower no less) of the characters with the most seasonal credits in the Buffyverse, I came up with this (tell me if it's missing anything please). This is not including season 8.
1. Angel 11/12
2. Willow and Spike 9/12
3. Buffy, Darla and Cordelia 8/12
4. Xander, Giles, Joyce and Harmony7/12
5. Drusilla and Faith and Wesley 6/12
This list then leads on to characters like Anya, Tara, Jenny, etc, the characters who appeared ONLY on their own show, other characters that made appearances on both include Oz, who racked up 4 seasons and Andrew who racked up a measly 3, yet appeared on both shows.
