Characters You Wish Had Got Together

Buffy/Faith, but not as a substantial relationship, just as a series of flings or late-night hookups. =D

Fred and Willow are adorable together, as well.

I was always curious to see how Buffy and Xander together would workout, especially from Season 7 onwards.
 
I was hoping after buffy and angel that zombie lindsey,clem,skinless warren,headless principle synder,joyce,principle flutie,that annoying creature of the lame lagoon from go fish,brainless tara,scott hope and glorificus all converted to mormonism,became polygamists,got married,moved into a one room apartment in la and had a show dedicated to their wacky highjinks and lifelessons to the tune of different strokes. They'd form
the voltron of fan fiction zomclearrenderflutielamelaggontahopeificus.

Willow and xander would of been cool too.
 
Gunn and Faith would be a good couple. Even though they had hardly any screen time together they seem like they'd be suited. Quite similar personalities. I'd call em Funn. Gaith just sounds horrible.
 
Xander/Spike, no doubt! They would've made S4 way more fun and interesting 😀

I'm also warming up to the idea of Xander/Buffy during S7 or after S7, like in S8.

Giles/Faith also is a good, interesting pairing.
 
I'd would so much love to see some flash-backs with Ethan/Giles from the old good Ripper days.
 
Willow and Xander, but only in high school when she was still in love with him.

Angel and the "slime and antlers" chaos demon Dru left Spike for.

Anya and Giles.
 
Ya know, I never see poor Kendra getting much love from the world of 'ships. I know nobody will agree with me on this one, but I always thought Xander and Kendra would make a cute pairing.

I always thought Connor should have gotten to meet some cute girl his own age, Dawn is probably to whiny for him. He needs someone who can kick his ass a bit when he's too surly. Like a mini-Faith.

I always wished one would have gotten to see more of Cordy and Doyle together.

oh and yeah, in a future away from the series I wouldn't have minded if Buffy got her experimentation on with Faith. that would've been hot
 
I think it would be interesting if Spike and Tara got together. Even though I really like her and Willow together. Xander and Dawn would be cute together. They got closer in season 7 looks like something could be there between them. Giles and Fred would be super cute together. He would steal Wesley's thunder though. I think Wesley deserves to be happy for a bit.
 
I've always supported Fuffy as a substantial relationship.

For one thing, I'm an ordinary guy. Seeing two incredibly attractive women together be pretty cool. =P
But getting beyond that, I like their chemistry. They have a great dynamic and that's what I like to see in ships.
It helps there were definite romantic/sexual undertones in Season 3 and the two of them seemed closer than Buffy has ever really been with anyone else who she wasn't dating. Of course than misfortune strikes and they are torn apart... But we must always remember, despite Faith's obvious affection for The Mayor, she did choose Buffy.

By Season 7 Faith is at the most stable we've seen her in the entire series. Sadly though, whatever feeling the two of them had built up in Season 3 was buried under a mound of resentment; mainly on Buffy's part. Even when the two of them make peace it's nothing more than a polite friendship as far as I could tell. It's mentioned all Faith ever wanted was Buffy to love and accept her...and she got the aceptance but I'm not too sure about the love.

That's why i like to think of them together. Buffy has had no luck whatsoever with men and Faith could perhaps find the peace she's longed for with Buffy.

This is just me being an over-sentimental fool though.

Yeah, this is pretty much the reasoning behind why I love the idea of Spangel so much. 😉

Yes, Fuffy is a popular ship. Personally, it doesn't do much for me, and I feel most of the "subtext" people talk about is purely wishful thinking (After all, Joss admitted the subtext wasn't intentional, only happened "subconsciously", lol) but I do understand the appeal of the ship.

Very true. I always loved Faith's line:
"Thank God we're hot chicks with superpowers." 🙂
