Talking to TV Guide Online about her forthcoming guest stint on Charmed, Charisma Carpenter took time out to discuss Angel. With rumours spreading of possible TV movies, the Guide asked her if she'd consider returning to the role of Cordelia Chase.

"You know, I'm not interested," she said. "Not because of David [Boreanaz] or anyone I worked with. I think we're all just done. I don't think my fans should be offended, because they're not Angel- or Buffy-specific. They've proven over time that they'll follow me no matter what I do, so I'm not afraid of taking anything away from them, and I hope they wouldn't feel that way."

Carpenter fans can catch her when she guest-stars in at least two episodes of Charmed this autumn, playing another psychic.

"At least I'm not in a coma on this show. They're both sassy girls, but this character is more of a temptress than a smartass. She's toying with Leo [Brian Krause]."

She's also recorded a pilot for a sitcom, Like Cats and Dogs about a guy who goes to stay with his sister and her houseful of dogs.

You know, I can't say I blame her. With what happened with her character in S3 and S4. This quote says it all:

I think they ended her character in a positive way in You're Welcome and should just leave it at that...Charisma has a great future ahead of her doing other projects!!! 🙂
 
Yup, read this somewhere else and I dont blame her either. I mean I liked it when she was on the show and I think it would be nice to see her back but her role is ended. And it did end in a positive, beautiful way. So I wish her the best of luck in her future films/shows. I think she'll do good in Charmed.
 
I don't blame her but I'm honestly not a Charisma fan outside of the show. I wont "follow her" wherever though maybe her apperances on Charmed will change my mind. I thought she wanted time off and thats why Cordy went into a coma but she seems kinda bitterish that her character went into a coma...weird.
 
It would be great to see Cordy agian but i agree i dont blame Charisma and i wish her the best of luck in everything that comes her way she's a great actress and shouldn't be held down to just one show...
 
She's so cool. She will be a great addition to Charmed. Most of the actors and actresses want to move on with their lives. They were part of a wonderful legacy and want to leave it at that. They do appreciate how far they have come due to the 2 wonderful shows but they worked so hard that they earn whatever they decide.

I love Cordy, but I understand Charisma. Hopfully I'll get to see her on Charmed, but it's unlikely, since I don't have the channel Charmed is on in Norway...So I hope she does other things that I can see her in. 😀
 
if Cordie hadn't come back in s5 then I would have blamed her for it. But she was sent off pretty well. She has an amazing future ahead of her.
 
I am realy happy she is going to be in charmed.......but she dose have a major point about her charcter not being in a coma this time......in charmed seers can only die, they don't do things like a coma, in angel it was a differnt story
