Charisma/Cordy let go?

I am curious as to if Charisma or Josh commented on her absence from the show. Was she let go? Was she asked back? Or was on maternity leave. Just curious...thanx. I know she didn't want to do the final ep because he was killing her, but thought the story was beautiful. Curious. I really missed her in the show. It would have been really nice to see her fighting till the end. Angel was the only original character in the final battle. I found that a little sad :bluesad::bluesad:

I read on Tv.com she gave birth in March, so she would have had plenty of time to get in shape and back to the set by July (when most shows start shooting) I have a feeling she wasn't asked back.
