Charisma Gets Her Own Series!

Great news for all Cordy and Charisma fans: She has won the lead in her own series. This new project could ensure good career perspectives for Charisma.



CC got the pilot for "Play Nice" the lead. It airs on UPN. She starts filming April 22nd.

Her co star is a guy names Tyler LeBean.

She is very happy with the people that she will be doing business with. Warner Little and Adam Chase are very connected with this project.

Mr. Little was with NBC for 10 years and was responsible for many of the great shows as well as late night TV. Adam Chase was a writer for Friends for about six years. So there should be some good stuff here.

She is a strong, ambitious pushing to make partner in a law firm. Sharing her apartment with a younger very sloppy brother who she adores and five dogs.

She does a lot of volunteer work where animal are concerned.

I hope that it goes through, and really makes it onto primetime tv. It would be great. Something to keep us all entertained when Angel is done.

Does anybody know what it is about? Somebody said a lawyer show? Is she going to play a lawyer?
 
Wow first Aly, now Charisma! This is great. At least we'll be able to see our favorite Angel/Buffy stars even when both shows are over

Apparently she's going to be playing a lawyer whose other passion is saving dogs and helping out at the local animal shelter. Her brother comes to stay with her and wackiness ensues. That's it in a nutshell.

I must say I'm really looking forward to this. I hope that it gets picked up and that we can see more of the mind blowingly beautiful and talented Charisma Carpenter. In my opinion AtS lost a lot of its spark after she was gone so it'll be great to see her onscreen again.
 
Cool! I wasn't supposed to watch anything on UPN next year(the last thing I watched on UPN was "Chosen") because it sucks but NOW, I'll watch this one. It should be as great as Alyson's series. 😉
 
I'm very happy for Charisma and for everyone who get's to see it. I don't get UPN in my area.

I looked up Tyler LeBean on IMDB and found nothing on that name, but I found an actor by the name of Tyler Labine who is about the right age to play her brother(he is 26). He has had many small parts on television and film. Could it be him?
 
WOOHOO, glad to see Charisma doing well, she is going to go soooo far. I am so happy for her, I loved her in Angel but after 'Your Welcome' I love her 10 times more.

However not convinced that UPN is a good idea. This station as the worst track record ever since they cancelled Buffy !

The UPN is definitely a dying network, but still yay for her. I can't wait to see it. Maybe this is what the UPN needs, you never know...so I'm rooting for her.
