Charisma vs Gina as Jasmine

Gina Torres. I didn't like her 'utterly smug Mother Teresa' act that much, but it was better than CC's rather phoned in 'mwahahah!' performance. If she had had a mustache, she would've twirled it. 🙄
 
Gina Torres. But I hope it's Jewel Staite. Jewel will make a perfect Jasmine.

Although I find them kinda hard to compare; because one of my many issues with this story in season 4 is that I never thought Jasdelia and Jasmine were remotely similar.
Then again, the whole Jasmine thing in general just seemed very sloppy.
 
I never really thought Carpenter was trying to play Jasmine. Interesting. I just thought like Connor affected Darla when he was in her, Jasmine did the same to Cordy. Didn't think that Jasmine possessed Cordy. That's really interesting.
 
Gina, no contest. To this day I don't even know what that Charisma thing was. Was it an attempt at acting evil or a pro-longed hissy fit of displeasure at the direction her character was taken in?


(not saying she didn't have a right to throw a hissy fit... in private)

Hmm. I would agree with Gina Torres. Although I would have liked to have seen Fred's reaction to a maggot-faced Cordy (and mine).
