Yo Gunn was my man.. he started off the heezy and then got even more hardcore. Not sure about that chick fred with him tough.. I think he was best with the spandex girl ya know?? That woman was something.. 'Nyway Angel aint had nothing on charlie gunn!! Though he didn't git enough character development ya know? what yo fellaws think?

Welcome Gunn, i agree CG would knock Angel right out. Def of my faves from Ats. Gotta love Fred too though.

I actually thought he and Anne should've got together, they got along great & had a lot in common. But he and Gwen definitely had chemistry!

I thought he had great development in season 5, and I loved his story in the After the Fall comics! That was a surprising twist.

Well, I'm not a "fella", but I'll agree that I liked him better with Gwen Raiden than Fred. Gwen made him more interesting than Fred; I thought she softened him up too much.
I loved Gunn and thought he was way underused.

I was sort of disappointed of him in the beginning of season 3. There his old Gang tries to kill all demons in Lorns bar, then they saw him and obey him to kill Angel. He didn't. But he said that he could never trust in Angel nor see him as friend. That hurted me, it hurted Angel. I never thought he could be so narrow-minded. It was a really sad scene because the things he said came out of his heart. Anyway I love him as character, he is pretty cool. But he made misscredits there. But he still helped the Fang Gang a lot. I like him very much.

Yeah Gunn was awesome overall, even though he really pissd me off a few times.🙂 He was stubborn, opinionated, and impulsive but he would do anything for the people he loved and felt he had to protect. I like the fact that he was a warrior in his own right long before he became part of the gang.

As far as him and Fred, I never really saw it either. I felt like it was mostly just a way for another love triangle to develope. I think he did care about her but I never felt it was long term. They didn't seem to have a lot in common. I do however think they're relationship was good for Fred, despite the way it ended. Feeling loved opened her up a little more.

So yeah, Gunn was the shiznit!😀

I am a Gunn/Gwen and a Gunn/Anne shipper. Not a Fred/Gunn shipper because I ship Wesley/Fred. Gunn is a good character and I like his character development. I always said I liked him better when the Fred storyline wasn't going on. I adored him in Not Fade Away, simply with what he chose to do with his last day. It really shows you his character.

He really annoyed me in the very beginning...but then he became one of my favorite characters. Haha I loved him during the Pylea arc. I also loved Frunn! Well, when they first got together I did. The thought of Fresley bugged the hell out of me at the time.

I always thought of Gunn as the 'Beautiful South' of Angel Investigations. For all those who are wondering, the Beautiful South was a British rock group whom was sometimes to described as everyone's 'Second Favourite Band', perhaps due to their middle of the road, easy going style. This said, many people like a least one of the songs regardless of whether they call themselves fans or not.

Gunn is a great character but he often loses out to, Angel or Wesley, Spike etc as people's favourite character. Depsite this, he's had some great storylines and character development in my opinion, including choosing AI over his former group, not knowing where he fits within the group. He often serves as the Watson (as Tvtropes calls it) helping to explain the exposition with his down to earth style.

Gunn is also smart without having to be 'intellectual', and really is a supersuave guy who can get himself out of tight spot.

Watching Gunn almost makes me want to dig out some Beautiful South records...
