Charmed: season seven

I think that Charmed is getting a little "fairy tale" almost, if they managed to fix the story lines then i will be happy, i think seven years is good for a show, i can think of a few good one's, such as buffy the star trek, ( i am a geek), etc
 
There are a lot of show that end after seven years, and your write it does seem "fairy tale like".
 
i think if the show ended after season seven it would have to be one big kick a$$ season with great plot twists and stuff, but how would it end?
 
I think they need a s7 just so that we know what happens with Chris and all.
 
I heard on another Board that Rose has renewed her Contract with the WB to continue Charmed, but it could be another rumor as well. Even though I love Charmed, and want it to go on I think they need to get off the 'Kiddie' stuff for awhile and get back to their old, orginal and NEW storylines. Dragons, Magic Schools and little babies vanquishing demons for some reason aren't doing it for me :redwink:

the show is a mess. the storylines are basically the same format that the Charlie's Angels TV show (also another aaron spelling gem) followed: three pretty young women, who disguise (or become) different and unsual characters and run around for a while before finally getting down to business and beating the "villain of the day".

Charmed was once fresh, quirky yet appealing. there was a darkness to it ...not a SAD overtone...just a dark, "trendy" feel to it that is completely gone now. seasons four and five wrecked the show and now its just like a live action comic book....and when will Aaron Spelling learn (or remember) that focusing on BABIES in a show always ruins it!? lol

The sisters are predictable now, far too emotional, and the show itself is boring....with no new ground to cover as it once always had.
 
I can confirm that it has been renewed. I've just been looking over at The Futon Critic and Charmed is listed as being carried on over into the 2004-2005 schedule. You can click here and see a list of shows that have been renewed so far 🙂
 
Yeah Alyssa's mom Lin put it on her safesearching site awhile ago, as soon as Alyssa told her that all 3 actresses renewed their contracts. The WB never planned for Charmed to go, I wonder how long they'll keep it though? I mean after season 7 it will have had more episodes than Buffy had. I'm happy to watch it as long as they'll put it on.
 
I also read unoffically somewherea while back that the plan was to run it for eight seasons...

anyway- very happy at a renewal 🙂
 
I'm really looking forward to season 7. The only thing I am not looking forward to is a season without Chris. I heard he signed on for season 7. Does anyone know if this is true?
