Charmed *slight spoiler*

E! News Live segment...

So have you guys seen the Charmed segment on E! News Live tonight? I did. The part I liked was when they brought out the BoS. I always liked the BoS and wondered how that thing was put together. Obviously, they admitted that it was expensive to put it all together, being done by hand.

When asked who was the lowest maintenance gal, Alyssa immediately started pointing at Holly. No surprises there. :: red dev

Here's the rundown for those who haven't seen it:

E! guy Patrick pretended to be a Demon and Holly and Ayssa acted scared and Rose just looked at him.

They talked about him wearing wool (black Demon outfit) and it being 100 degrees in Canago Park where the show is filmed.

They talked about the book of shadows and how it expensive and all hand drawn. Patrick joked that is was for sale on Ebay.

Patrick then said they had another prop that was very imporant and he brought out "stinky" the pregnancy pad. They started punching it and Rose said she hits it all the time and wasn't that the most horrible thing. ( to hit a fake baby belly)

Holly then said "Not to let Rose be live". Rose than put the pad on and sang "do you think I'm sexy.?" Holly took it from her and said she gave birth and was done with it and threw it across the room. Rose said she would be burning stinky in the parking lot later.

They asked about the 100th episode and Alyssa talked about doing 200 on whos the boss and now she done 300 episodes of tv thats why she is so exhausted. Rose tried to get out of the 100th party becasue she hasn't done 100.

They asked if they were worried about reality shows. Holly said " Hell no!" and Rose said "you mean this isn't reality, Lions and tigers and Demons?". Patrick said if he faints from wearing this wool that would be reality and someone will have to give me mouth to mouth. All the girls just "oooed" at this statemnt/suggestion.

They asked who was the lowest maintance and it was Holly without a doubt. Alyssa said she was second and Rose begged to differ and Alyssa laughed and ran around the room in disbeif and Holly just rolled her eyes like you have to be kidding. Rose said she wore the least makeup and got the same response.

Alyssa and Rose went back and forth about the make up and Holly stood in the middle and swiped her hands between them and said Peace.

Patrick sent it back to the e! studio and said now you got the girls fighting.

It was very funny and they were very cute with each others.

They talked to Brian it is his b-day and the E! people sang to him. He talked about the upcoming episode alittle and how he was just suppose to be in a couple of episode and now he is still there 100 shows later.

Just to let you know that The WB yesterday run a promo spot to spotlight the shows that are running for February Sweeps. In short, February Sweeps is a special time for U.S. network TV, which is when they do their best to please advertisers by putting on shows to help get the highest ratings possible.

Anyway, there was a second or two of Charmed during that promo, which featured all three sisters, Leo and a special new person in the family.:: red :: **Spoilerish**

Nothing Simple About 'Charmed' Birth
Fri, Feb 14, 2003 00:05 AM PDT

by Kate O'Hare
Zap2it, TV News

LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - After half a season or so of fluctuating hormones, pregnant good-witch Piper Halliwell (Holly Marie Combs) of The WB's "Charmed" finally gives birth this Sunday, Feb. 16, at 8 p.m. ET, in an episode called "The Day the Magic Died." As always, her husband, mystical White Lighter Leo (Brian Krause), will be on hand, as will her witchy sisters Phoebe and Paige (Alyssa Milano, Rose McGowan).

Still, it will hardly be magical business as usual for the San Francisco clan.

"One reason for the title is purely practical," says executive producer Brad Kern. "It's episode 15, the last episode of February sweeps, which is always the tightest turnaround for production for us in any year."

"It was such a tight turnaround that we had to design an episode that had very few magical effects or visual effects. So we came up with an idea -- actually, the writer, Daniel Cerone, came up with it -- where, for reasons that we will explain in the episode, that are tied to the impending birth of the baby, all magic takes the day off."

"Demons and witches, none of them is magical. So the girls have to figure out how to stop the demons that are still coming after them, even though they don't have magical powers any more. Phoebe's got to run up and find that aerosol hairspray to do a flamethrower. They've got to become mini-MacGyvers, all while trying to protect Piper, who suddenly goes into contractions, and the demons are coming after her and the baby."

The next original episode of "Charmed" is tentatively scheduled to air March 9, and according to Kern, the fun continues. "'Baby's First Demon' is a cute episode, where we reveal that this baby has quite a few powers, enough that it makes a certain demon faction want the baby, except it's not going to be very easy to get the baby."

"At the end of the episode, they and all of demon-dom are going to learn that you don't mess with this baby, which will keep the baby from being in jeopardy very often."

"Lucky Charmed," the next episode, is tentatively scheduled for March 16, the night before St. Patrick's Day. Although it concerns leprechauns, Kern swears the timing is just a bit of Irish luck.

"The writer pitched it to me," he says, "and he happened to be up for assignment that episode. The WB moved that episode's airdate to the 16th after we'd already started working on it, before they heard what the content was. It's kismet."

As for the storyline, Kern says, "It's hysterical, especially when Paige is in this dire situation, and this little-person leprechaun is being attacked, and she doesn't know what to do. She calls for him, and he orbs over and lands on her. It doesn't get any better than that. He says, 'It must be love.'"

Mark Povinelli ("Frasier, " The Hughleys") plays Shamus, the leprechaun in question, but he's not the only one. " I guarantee you," says Kern, " that there will be at least 500 leprechauns in one shot. It'll be a lot of extras, a lot of CGI. We know that when 500 leprechauns raise their shillelaghs in the air and yell a collective 'Aye'; it's going to be fun."

They do good and bad, but their purpose in the world will become cleared up for all of mankind once and for all on 'Charmed.'"

"We've done a lot of fun episodes this year, fun not only for the audience but for the crew and cast. We have wood nymphs coming up, too. We've got 'em all. I don't know what we're doing to do in season six. It just challenges us to do better next year."

"Charmed" airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET on The WB.

Good news, Charmed fans...

Charmed Picked up for 6th Season
Tuesday February 25th, 2003

Its taken a while to get it confirmed but for those of you who don't already know, Charmed has been renewed for a sixth season. This is really great news! All the girls are signed on for next season (although the number of episodes is not yet confirmed) and everyone involved in the show is really excited about being able to come back next year and give us even more great episodes!

Congratulations to all involved in the show, and its time for us to party! Not that we ever doubted that one of the best shows on TV right now wouldn't last at *least* another year! Special thanks to Gary for letting me know!

Great! At least I know my other fave show will be back for another season - I couldn't bear to have that finish as well as Buffy!

Some bad news for French Charmed fans

Holly Cancels Convention
Friday February 28th, 2003

Holly Marie Combs has had to pull out of the convention in France due to unforseen work commitments. She posted on SafeSearching.com's messageboard informing the fans of this, and also confirmed what we previously posted about the show being picked up for a sixth season.

I am sure any french fans who purchased tickets will be upset to hear this, we can only hope that they will be able to secure one of the other main cast for the event.
