Yea I have to agree with you there! Oh my Goddess was terrible for a season finale. I thought the whole idea was stupid. Sorry for anyone who loves it
 
Oh My Goddess also made little sense! They made all that fuss about how they heck they were gonna defeat the Titans and then Piper did it all on her own!?
 
Charmed is quality! S6 is turning out to be a ace season. I absolutely love Piper.
It has been rumoured Shannen may return for the S7 opener.
 
well i love the show...personally i dont like shannon as an actress she is too wooden!

I'm loving the current Piper - Chris - Leo - Wyatt storyline...

Shame Rose [McGowan] dyed her hair back...I loved it blonde!
 
Well, Since some people have said they didn't like Oh My Goddess 😀 I'll add my two cents in on that episode. It was 'Ok', I liked the plot and the idea of the episode. Greek Mythology has always been a huge hobby of mine, but the only thing I didn't like about it...was how the Sisters portrayed the Goddess's they were appointed as...

Pheobe- Ok, She was chosen to be Aphrodite- The Goddess of Love. It was a good choice for her, seeing how she came back from the Relationship with Cole. But Really, what help was she against the titans? She was useless, I think they could have gave her just alittle bit more power so she could actually pose a threat!

Paige- Paige was changed into Athena, Once again it was a good idea for Paige. Since she was on a major power trip through the whole season, but since when did Athena have a TRIDENT? Hate to break it to ya, but that was Poseidon 😀 She did have some power though, and unlike Pheobe, actually posed a threat against the Titans

Piper- Saving the best for last 😀 I love Piper don't get me wrong, she has and always will be my favorite character on Charmed. And I also loved her she became Demeter, but come on. She spent more time whining about how they needed Leo when clearly in the past seasons they have proven to just as powerful without leos help!

So that was my two Cents 🙂 Overall the Finale was 'Ok' but it wasn't all that good. And In my opinion there was 2 major Bad hairstyles in that episode, first of all: Alyssa does not look good as a blone, and it looked like Chris just got electricuted 🙄
 
Chris and Phoebe's hair were awful!! xD

Okay, so OMG wasn't that bad but there have been better...nothing beats All Brakes Loose!
 
I love Charmed! My favourite sister has to be Phoebe. She was great at playing the younger, rebellious sister who loved magic in the first three seasons. I must admit she lost some of her edge after Prue died and she became the middle sister. But she's still a great witch and Alyssa does a great job at playing Phoebe.

I think Piper has the best powers by far. Even when Prue was still alive, Prue's powers pale in comparrision to Piper's. I think season 6 has been great for Piper. She's had a lot of good episodes. The first two opening episodes of the season had Piper kicking butt (physically) like we've never seen her before!

My favourite season has got to be season 3. Mainly because of the Phoebe/Cole relationship. In season 3 it was still new and they were so in love. I'm still hoping they will get their happily ever after...but I'm not holding my breath...lol.. I used to be a big fan of Piper/Leo's relationship in season 2 but at the introduction of Cole, Piper/Leo's relationship became slightly less important....on a side note...have you noticed how its the middle sisters who always get married?

I loved the All Hell Breaks Loose finale. It was great! I'm not a big fan of Prue but I loved her in this episode. I think the producers and writters really over looked the potential of Prue playing an evil character. It has always been Phoebe who has taken on that role, of either being taken over of seduced by evil, but in this episode I thought Prue looked incredibly dangerous, especially in the hospital afer Piper had died.
 
Oo! Spin City? Yeah I thought that was a great one The Leo/Chris scenes were so tear-jerking and dramatic! Drew Fuller has really grown as an actor.

The Wicked Witch Storyline was a bit stupid but the Nymph as a man was hilarious!

I liked the episode as well, seeing Chris pound Leo into a pulp was kinda funny, and they are certainly expanding Chris' character this season. Good to see that Leo will be around more often, the show does lack a little without his character.
One final note and probably the only thing I really did not like, here is this spider thingy chick and you can kill her by stepping on her spider form, that was tacky. A little tougher would have been nice. :: tu ::

Piper is really showing, does anyone know how many months pregnant she actually is?

Simply charming

WHEN Brad Kern tucks his four-year-old son into bed, he weaves stories of three young witches named Piper, Phoebe and Paige.

As the executive producer and writer with the hit television series Charmed, he's got storylines aplenty to bring to life. And while Kern's son has never seen the show, he knows all about the lives of its three main characters almost as well as they come to life in the studio where the series is made.

So when dad comes home from work one day to find his child mixing a potion in the kitchen he shouldn't be surprised. That's got to be better than spinning pirate stories and having him run off to the South China Sea with a cutlass and a parrot.

Now in its sixth season (and recently signed on for a seventh), Charmed is the story of three San Franciscan sisters who also happen to be witches. And while the weekly show is about the craft and the life of a witch, more importantly it's about the power and bond of family and the daily fight between good and evil. While the average person may not be battling a demon named Javna in their loungeroom, they are certainly making choices and confronting their own demons in various guises.

"I certainly believe there's more to the world than what we see," says Brad Kern about his own philosophy. "I believe there's something else out there, some kind of power or powers that are beyond what's before us. To me it's like the light spectrum, there are things we can see, things we can't but know are there and possibly other things further on from that. I believe there's magic and power out there."

A California native in his early 40s, Kern began writing professionally for Remington Steele (1982-1987) and worked his way up to supervising producer for the final season. His other credits include being part of the writing staff for Hill Street Blues, he was supervising producer for Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman and also executive producer for the award-winning police drama New York Undercover, where he added director to his title in the show's fourth season. He moved from NYU to Charmed and has been with the show since the first episode.

A typical day for Kern means rising about 4.30am to write, being at the studio by 8am, working on the set all day, heading home to write and falling into bed about 11pm, given production doesn't go late. So the precious other time available to him, he jealously guards for his wife and son and extended family, who seem to have grown proportionally to Charmed's popularity. Happily he enjoys relative anonymity on the streets of Los Angeles where he lives.

Apart from his technical expertise, Kern has also tried to imbue his work with a sense of his beliefs about power, life, death and consequence. Consequence is a major theme in Charmed: the consequence of the sisters' choices, both as women and as witches.

"In a cop show, if you're a cop and you are fighting bad guys and you see life and death. You constantly ask why and you are forced to explore evil. When a bullet only grazes you, it's hard not to believe maybe someone is looking out for you. I've always believed that," Kern says.

Without suggesting for one minute that the show should be seen as elementary witchcraft lessons, Kern hopes viewers and fans use it as an opportunity to explore their own sets of beliefs, spirituality or religion. And after six years, it's also part of Kern's job to keep the cast and crew motivated and bring plenty of positivity to everything the show does.

"Iraq withstanding, my belief in people to choose the positive path over the years is increasing, not decreasing. Not to compare real life with television, because I would never be that arrogant, but the girls are constantly being tested by evil and they have to trust but also have to define what's good in the face of obstacles. We are constantly being tested and right now the world is being tested in a very overt way. But I do believe there's more positive energy in the world than negative. Our show believes in duality and you have the choice in what you believe."

With more than 10 million viewers worldwide, what's interesting is Charmed's audience. Who would you pick as a typical Charmed fan?

According to Kern, they're women aged 32. There's also a strong contingent of 12- to 17-year-old females and it's this group which Kern says he keeps in mind when striving to keep the show's messages positive and responsible. But there's also a largely undocumented number of male fans, who Kern suggests are unwilling to publicly admit their love for the show.

"A doctor who was giving me a fitness test recently told me he didn't watch television. Half way through the treadmill test he asked me what I did for a living. When I told him I worked on Charmed, his eyes nearly fell out of his head. He said 'don't tell my wife I watch it!'. I think there's a lot more men watching it than admit it."

lol I have to agree with the guy on the treadmill there are more guys who watch Charmed than would want to admit. I dont understand the embarassment there are three hot babes (despite Alyssa's new hair cut 🙂
and usually a good looking evil villian as well.

My only problem with the article is that Kern said he has storylines a plenty, why is it that some of the ones from the last 2 years seem to be alot like some of the early episodes. It's like dejavu or something.
I remember the great Larry David once said when asked why they werent going to keep going with Seinfeld and he said that as the show matured and got into its 5th season the episodes and problems became somewhat repatative and it seemed like they were rewriting the same jokes. I wonder if that is what is happening on Charmed. But it is good to seem them coming back for a 7th
 
that is good news thanks for letting us know DW, so I guess the new arrival on the show will be this season or next?

Come to think of it they should have named the kid Chris ::dance::
