I wondered if anyone watchs charmed, I love it I have the wooden chest edition of all eight seasons. I was wondering if anyone wanted to chat about charmed all the chamred forums are dead.
I love this show too! I am actually watching the episode Witchstock right now. I love the idea of the characters and how it focused so much on witches. It was all together a great show. I love Leo and Cole and Piper is the best sister!
I used to watch Charmed a lot when I was about 13-16. These days I hardly have time to watch anything, plus Charmed's on TV here Mo-Fri at 11am...wtf? Like anyone's gonna watch it at that time. Well, I have most of the DVDs, but stil lI hardly ever watch it.
My favourite characters were Phoebe and Paige.
And I completely loved Cole! Julian McMahon, do I need to say more?
I think my brother had it totally for Paige and Phoebe. Really, he used to watch Charmed with me just because of the girls. And he used to make jokes about how he could recognize each Charmed Ones by their breasts. I have a strange brother.
Lol, I know stupid things about Prue like her birth and death date and her favourite sandwitch etc its really sad.
Not that sad. I used to know all that stuff as well...some years ago. well, but as always I was a sucker for the more romantic storylines, such as Phoebe and Belthazor.
Yeah or Piper and Leo, when Prue wrecked their wedding. I watched that epasode last night. Its really nice when the Eldars send their mum back to them for the day.
It wasn't REALLY Prue, only like her...sleeping ego, lol. Well I haven't seen Charmed in ages, unfortunately. But my favourite episode is ...kay, now I have to think...ah, now I rember, lol, 'Chick Flick'...I just loove that one.
It was so much better when Shannen Doherty was on. However, Piper will always be my favorite. Along with Phoebe in the early years. Rose McGowan lost acting cred going into the 5th and 6th seasons when she began to suck. I loved Paige in Season 4, however. And she started getting better towards the end of the series.. .

I'm an equal Prue/Piper fan, Phoebe and Paige were great, but just not characters that I could love quite as much
S3 and S7 have been showing here on tv recently and it's so strange watching the two seasons at the same time, so much is the same but SO much is different, and it wasn't until the second viewing that I started liking Chris's character 🙂 it's always fun to rewatch when I need a P3 fix, I bought the book of shadows collection thingy with the front that lights up when the book is 'attacked by evil' or you know, moved at all so it's always handy!
I'm still a fan of Charmed & have currently been watching it in the week as they have 2 eps back to back on Living Mon-Fri. 😀 The great thing is I'm watching them with my 4yr old daughter for the first time, well, I say 4, she's nearly 5 though. She LOVES Charmed! And of course Buffy too! Our viewing schedule when she comes home from school is Buffy at 4pm on FX, then Charmed on Living+1 5pm-7pm. We have all the 8 seasons on DVD anyway, but whilst they are on telly at the moment it's something to look forward too.
I was never a massive fan of Prue - much preferred Paige as she was such a fun character, but Piper is by far my favourite character - Holly used to deliver her lines so well - she was just great at all those witty comments etc but I always felt she was also the best for the emotional scenes too, I just personally think her acting skills were way above Alyssa & Rose. Sometimes I think that Rose & Alyssa overacted a little.
I also watched the very last episode the other day as I had not rewatched it since it first aired, and I have to say, despite the cheesy sentiment at the end, it reduced me to tears 'lol'
Afterall, the show was all about sisters, & family and their relationships etc...the fact they were also witches was just secondary, so I never took that part of it seriously. 😉
It was a fun show I could watch and escape for hour. 😀 I still miss it now...
