Charmed!

Ooooh, do you guys remember Piper's monologue in that one episode where Prue and Phoebe were acting like children (I think it was s3ep3, not sure), and Piper was just missing Leo like crazy...I was so moved seeing that.

Oh,. and I forgot to mention this earlier, but...we actually have a nightclub in my town called P3, lol.

Paige was good in the situation they were stuck with. However, if the original 3 could have been together all 8 seasons, that would have made the series a LOT better. Especially if Constance M. Burge would have stayed on as story-runner. I always have said when the creator leaves a show, it gets reduced in quality. Look at Gilmore Girls' 7th season as an example.

I agree wholeheartedly. Have you SEEN "Enter the Demon"? The way Alyssa portrays Paige in that episode was SO bad. And you can look at most of seasons 5-7 for Rose's overacting.
 
Lets keep the thread going about charmed, Id love to know what power out of the three you would have and if its telekinesis paige or prue's.

My would be Pheobe, I want Premonitions. May seem like a boring power to some people, but Pheobe has the biggest potential for good deeds and is also less likely to die. She's generally 2 steps ahead of deamons. So that would be my power.
 
Honestly? I would like all their powers. The only ones I would be willing to give up are hovering and letting things explode. The rest is too awesome to choose from.
 
Well, half of the time hovering didn't really even work the way it should.
And exploding...what's the point? I wouldn't know what to do with a power like that.

Astral projection was really cool. Just think about it, you could be somewhere you're not and do everything you like but couldn't get hurt. If you're thinking about this, it's even better than Orbing in some ways, you get to where you want to be, can do whatever you want, but technically you could still sit in a meeting or at school where you have to be, lol.

Astral projection that would be cool. Exploding in real life is a bit pointless.
 
I loved Charmed, and still do, but sadly not as much as I used to. I noticed it has a lot of continuity errors and plot holes, but it's fun to watch. I liked all of the sisters, I used to LOVE Piper and Phoebe and couldn't care less about Prue and Paige, but overtime I came to love all four of them. And oh my god...Henry!! I adore Henry! And Billie, I know she's not to popular amongst fans, but I adored her. She kept me watching after the dreadfull season seven. Oooh and Cole too *nods*

Episode wise, Charmed could be REALLY good when it wanted to be, but it could also well...be not so good lol. My all time favorite episode is and always will be 'Long Live the Queen'. I floved Phoebe and Cole as leaders of the Underworld, Piper and Paige working together, and drunk Piper!! "Over and over, over, and over and over...and over. That doesn't even sound like a word anymore" 😛

Other favorite episodes are All Hell Breaks Loose, Charmed Again, The Day the Magic Died, Cennintal Charmed, Coyote Piper, many other season three episodes lol.

But what really sent the show downhill for me? Wyatt. Or at least that's what I came to. I like hardly any episodes after he came into the picture (I really don't like Chris either, except in the future when he's with Bianca cause damn they were cool). Maybe it wasn't Wyatt himself, but the show changed for the worse, IMO.

I have to get this out though. My biggest pet peeve in this show is the demons. They are so dang stupid! They always want to kill the Charmed Ones, when if they wanted to take over the world or whatever, they could! The sisters hardly ever gave a crap unless the demons came crashing into their house or someone they loved was in danger. And please don't get me started on the 'innocents'. Or the Charmed Ones being the only good witches fighting the good fight...nevermind. I'll stop now lol.

I found Leo rather boring...still love Dan!! I love me some Greg Vaughn, also I think he's a better actor than Brian Krause but I suppose it was good that she chose Leo. I floved Cole. I hated the way the sisters treated him after all he had done to help them and Phoebe. I hated that the truth never came out that he didn't choose to be the Source, and that he fought it every step of the way but it consumed him. But in Charmed there was no Shades of Gray...all black and white (well most of the time...argh I'm supposed to be saying good things about the show...darn). I hated that he wasn't even dead for one episode before he came back...even if I loved him, I wish he would've stayed dead, or at least a little longer than he did.

Which brings me to another quick rant...other than Prue, you die and come back (or get a goodbye scene...like Andy) all the time. God damnit, that bothered me above all else!! Death meant almost nothing! Piper and Phoebe died 9 fricken times, and the show was only on eight years!! -okay, rant over...sorry

But yeah, just watched Long Live the Queen last night and loved it, as always. Hopefully I didn't rant too much...I tried to stay positive...I did but sometimes these things come out lol 😛

I agree on most of what you said. I agree 10000000% of the shades of grey not being present.

I really hate how the sisters dont give a damm unless they get confronted. All the deaths that they could of prevented in San Fransisco.

What annoys me with the deamons is they enter an Episode they do a bad deed or make their intentions know and they look in the book and make a spell or potion and puff deamon gone wtf? Has Constance M Burge and co not heard of a big bad.

Also Cole wtf? Why must we see him Dominating seasons 3 4 5 all about him. His character sucks aswell half human side my backside. 100 years of being balthasaar killing scores of innocents and when he's his human side no regrets no wanting to do good deeds unless it helps Pheobe.

I still love the show but it has major problems.
 
Men...Cole...as you might have guessed. He just had this whole redemption thing going on (lol) and he looks good.
And Phoebe is the sexiest sister. Anybody remember the episode where her body got possessed in this pyramide and the outfit she was wearing?

Well more or less. He TRIED to be better becuase of his love for Phoebe. He was still part demon and yet he tried to be good. Gotta give him credit for that.

I think as soon as I'm done with my exams I'm gonna rewatch Charmed.
 
Man? Henry, without a doubt! He's such a sweetie plus I adored him with Paige! Though I loved Cole too...hmmm. Oh and Drake from season seven even if he was only in a few episodes. His character was a golden idea...they should've kept him longer. *nods*

Ohhh, remember him performing at P3? That was so great.
And I'm glad he was such a good character, it was better for the actor (recalling him in Titanic)

I would have to say that Leo is my favorite. He is so adorable and such a sweetie and he would be the type of guy that I go for. Although Cole is sexy I could not handle the bad boyiness that he posesses I would go for the sweet angel. :smile:

ummm...isn't love what generally sparks redemption in these shows? Like Spike? Or even Anya to an extent?

Cole tried to be good for Phoebe, classic love story lol

As for Angel, I still think his hair sticks straight up and he's bloody stupid but tis not the point 😛
