This is my first fic ever! I just decided to write one one day lol and I loved doing it! More on the way soon!
Author's note: Ok so when reading this throw the whole Charmed timeline outta the window. Basically it's based in season 5 of Charmed and season three of Buffy. Cole is still alive and very powerful and Piper is pregnant 🙂
Part One
Buffy sat, Alone on the Merry go round in the middle of Sunnydale park,She knewn that she was vunerable to attack in this postiton but it was a slow night and a very cold one at that.
Buffy shuddered as a cold wind swept through the playground.
''Must be to cold for the undead tonight.''
Slowly getting up, Buffy brushed herself off and walked back her usual route,Towards Revello Drive.
Giles had just finished organizing the new arrivals when he sensed something wasn't right.He had developed this 'power' since working with the Slayer. He carefully edged his way across the library towards the weapons cabinet,keeping his eyes and ears peeled.
A voice boomed form behind him. A tall, dark man appeared form behind the stacks, not quite into the light.
''Impressive.'' He said.
Giles squinted his eyes, trying to place the voice with a face.
''Who are you?''
''Oh I'm sorry, Did I forget to introduce myself?''
He stepped into the light
''Cole Turner, Lawyer slash Source of all evil.''
Giles's eyes widened as he took in the last part.He carefully slipped his hand into the cabinet.
''What do you want?''
He said trying to distract Cole.
''Thought you would have figured that out by now.''
He chuckled.
''Let's see, What could the source of all evil what with Sunnydale? It's not the food!''
''The Hellmouth.''
Giles said the words that dried out his mouth.
''Bingo!''
Cole gleamed.
Giles drew the sword out and tried to keep his hand steady as his stomach flipped with fear.
''Aw, C,mon.I'm not here to fight!.....Yet.''
He flamed out leaving Giles standing there,Not knowing what to do.
After he had prcessed what had just happened,Giles grabbed his coat and headed for Buffy's Place.
Part Two
Paige awoke with a start. As the last remains of her dream left her,she slipped her feet into her fluffy slippers situated by her bedside. The aroma of coffee led her downstaris where Piper was making breakfast for everyone.
''Hey Miss-I-Like-To-Sleep-To-Noon.'' Piper chimed.
Just as Piper served up the last of the bagels,Phoebe came running down the stairs.
''I'm late, I'm late!'' She said while waving her arms in the air.
She rushed through the kitchen grabbing a warm bagel as she went,She said goodbye to all the occupants of the room before leaving.
''Bye, Bye, Bye baby!''
The last goodbye was directed at Piper's stomach.
''Wow, She's in a rush (looks at the clock) and this early? Can't be healthy.''
''What?! Early? It's 12!''
''Well..Early for me anyway!''
Paige finished her last point with a pout.
Leo orbed in.
''We've got bad news.''
''Oh yay.'' Piper said,voice laced with sarcasm.
''It's Cole..He's missing.''
''And we're worried about this why?''
''We're worried because the Elders can't sense him which means he's up to something.''
Piper and Paige exchanged one of thier sister-code looks.Leo look confused.
''What?''
They both said in unison,
''Phoebe.''
Piper continued.
''She just got Cole outta her life and she doesn't need him back in and maybe it's good that he's gone for a little while.''
''I know but--''
The Elders called for Leo
''Sorry sweetie I have to go,The Elders want me.''
''Elders smelders! They are working you to hard!''
''Sorry.'' He said as he orbed away.
''Ugh! I hate it when he does that!''
Paige rose from the table.
''I gotta love ya and leave ya,I have to go to the evil place that keeps my paycheck.''
Paige hugged Piper and rubbed her pregnant belly.
''So cute.''
''Yeah,You wouldn't say that if you had it attached to ya all the time!''
Paige smiled and headed upstaris to get ready.After a while,Piper made her way up to the attic.
Piper walked into the old attic and was grateful of the warmth the sunshine shining through the small window gave her.
Sitting down,She grabbed a crystal and a map, focused and then tried scrying for the missing Cole.
Nothing.
Nothing.
And more nothing.
''Come on! a little help wouldnt kill you would it? She said to the powerful being growing inside of her.
Suddenly the crystal started spinning violently.
''Ookay..''
The crystal spun out of her hand and landed on the map.
''Paige!!'' Piper shouted.
Paige came running in looking worried.
''What what??''
''I got a location on Cole.''
They both peered at the map.
''Sunnydale,He's in Sunnydale,California.''
Part Three
Buffy glupped down the last of her OJ and placed the glass in the sink as a hurried knocking came from the front door. Buffy frowned and wondered who it was this early. Opening the door, buffy was ambushed by a ruffled Giles.
''Giles, What's up you look a litt--''
She was cut off by Giles's ramblings.
''Buffy, Last night, When I was in the library a-a demon must have got in somehow.''
''Oh my god are you okay?''
''Yes yes quite alright but that's not my concern...He seemed extremly powerful and set on..well opening the hellmouth from what I gathered.''
Buffy's face was grave as she took in the news of her soon to be adversary.
''The hellmouth?''
Buffy blinked back the memories of the last time it was opened. Keeping a cool facade she invited Giles in and lead him to the kitchen.
''Did he say anything else?''
''Umm..No he didn't even hint anything...Just turned up, Threatened and flamed out.''
''Wait, he flamed out? Can demons do that?...And also cool.''
''Yes they can, but nothing we have faced before. I do have some books at the library that might help.''
''Yeah and I have to go to school so and I'm already late, So can I get a ride?''
''Oh yes of course.''
Giles took Buffy to school, parked his car in the lot and turned to her.
''You should probably tell Willow and Xander about our new arrival.''
Seeing Willow and Xander in the distance Buffy nodded.
''On it.''
Paige looked shocked at Piper.
''What?''
''My lil niece must be pretty powerful huh?''
''Well she is a Halliwell.''
''Ok, So what do we do?''
''Umm I'm thinking we get Pheobe and orb over to Sunny California'' Said Piper rising from the couch.
''Sure thang, Hang on sis.''
Pheobe typed up her last letter of the day, Slowly lowering her head onto the desk, she closed her eyes in hope of a couple of minutes peace. Paige and Piper orbed in without Pheobe noticing.
''Pheeeeobeee.''
Piper called.
Pheobe jumped so high she could have fallen off her chair.
''Scare the bee jesus outta me why don't ya!''
''Umm Pheebs, We have some news for you.'' Paige left the rest to Piper.
''Sweetie, Leo told us this morning that-That Cole had gone missing.''
Pheobe sighed.
''I scryed for him and with the help of her, She said motioning to her stomach, We found him. He's in California.''
Paige and Piper waited for Pheobe's reaction. After a minute Pheobe looked up and regarded her sisters.
''Okay....We go to Calfornia, Kick his butt and get a tan.''
''Pheobe are you sure? I mean don't you wanna like, Go make some potion or look in the Book or something?''
''No, This could be our chance, If the Elders couldn't find him then he won't be expecting us.''
The sisters hugged as Paige orbed them out.
Part Four
Buffy walked towards Willow and Xander who were hanging out on the benches outside of the school.
''Hey guys....Sorry to spoil your day but...we have a new player in town..potential biggie.''
Willow and Xander both had on their faces a look of curiosity. Xander motioned for her to go on.
''His name is Cole Turner..which is unsual as demons don't gernerally have names like that but...He talked to Giles last night in the library..and he wants to open the hellmouth.''
Oh well it's not like that doesn't happen every week!'' Xander replied.
''Giles said that this one was differnt he umm flamed out..''
''Flamed out? like teleporting with extra flamey goodness..Yeah I read about em somewhere, So Giles is researching it?'' Willow said.
''Yep, as we speak, although I don't wanna leave him alone in there, I know it's day an all but I'd rather be with him and maybe you can help.'' She said pointing to Willow. Willow gave Buffy a bright cheery smile that helped lift Buffy's impending doom feeling a little.
Inside the library, Giles was in the stacks, searching for a book on older, more powerful demons when all of a sudden something glowed bright beside him.
''What the-''
He was cut off by the arrival of three women, The Charmed Ones.
Buffy walked through the library doors to find Giles staring at three women.
''G-Man scoring in the library, who knew?!'' Xander said.
''Buffy thank god your here, These-these people they came from nowhere-they just--''
''Hey hey calm down.'' Piper said using her best calming voice. ''We're not here to hurt you ok?''
''You orbed in! Only Whitelighters can do...'' Giles trailed off as he realised who they were.
''Your..Whitlighters?'' He ventured.
''Witches, We're witches.And how do you know about that stuff anyway? I mean your..a librarian.'' Paige said.
''Hey, Giles Wanna explain whats going on here?''
Buffy said.
''I-I thought they were just a myth..Umm three sisters embued with powers, The power to move objects with one's mind, The power to slow down time and the power to see into the future.'' Giles recalled.'' But none with the power to orb...''
''Yeah, one of our sisters died...But we have a new addition to the family.'' Pheobe said pointing at Paige.
''I'm impressed, So you know us..Who does that make you?''
''Buffy, the vampire slayer.'' Buffy stepped in and stared at the sisters.
''The vampire slayer? Wow you actually exist?'' Paige had read something about them in her studies.
''Yep..and I'm living proof..well living most of the time anyway.''
''So, what brings you to Sunnydale? I'm guessing the arrival of this new guy in town and you coming here can't be coincidence.''
''Your right, Cole, We have to find him...Before it's to late.''
''To late for what?''
'' Oh just our little plane of existence we like to call earth.'' Pheobe sighed.
Part Five
[Time lapse]
Piper, Paige and Pheobe sat around the table in the library telling Buffy and co about their time as witches and about Cole.
''So, Cole is like this big momma of demons and he wants to open the hellmouth.'' Buffy said what she was thinking out loud.
''In a nutshell, Yes.''
''So, we find, you kill,Xander said motioning to Buffy, we partay.''
''Not that simple I'm afraid, We've tried to kill before he's been like scotchguarded against all our potions.''
''Wow, You guys use potions?''
Willow said intrigued.
'' I'm..well I wouldn't say witch..more of a dabbler.''
''Cool, we got another witch in the mix.'' Paige said.''Could be helpful.''
''Okay, So Willow, You show Paige what we got, Books and stuff, and I'm going hunting, Any of you wanna come with me?'' Buffy said looking at Pheobe and Piper.
''I, will do that.'' Piper said. ''Pheebs, You stay here and umm help Mr.Giles or something.''
''Sure. Just be careful.''
Piper nodded and headed out of the library with Buffy.
Pheobe sighed as she flipped the page of a very old musty book.She watched Paige as she was talking to Willow in Giles's office.Willow had told Paige about what she can do magic wise, floating pencils and the like.Paige looked impressed.
''I can't beliveve someone so new to the craft has gotten this advanced. I mean I only have the powers I have because I'm charmed a normal witch usually takes a long time to build up your kind of powers.''
Willow smiled.
''Thanks, I mean I'm not really that powerful just the odd pencil floating about here and there.''
Paige and Willow walked out of the office to join the others.
''Quite an impressive collection ya got here Mr. Giles.''
''Please call me Giles and thank you.''
''Nada.Zip.Zilch here.'' Pheobe said shutting the book that was in her lap.
''Well I suggest we wait till Buffy and Piper come back with news hopefully.'' Willow said '' In the mean time, I have to get to class.''
Willow walked out of the library doors to be greeted by a tall man.
Pheobe stood up, stared at the man and said the word that made her quiver...
''Cole.''
