When ever i log into the chat room, no one's there, and i always wait around for a while too, so i thought that we might come up with something.

Anyone think that it would make using the chat rooms a little more "chat like" if there were some sort of proposed time when everyone tried their mightest to log on at that time?

I realize this might be tricky as many of us live in different parts of the world. That could be taken into account though, and the best compromised time we could come up with would be great, and we could make an effort to schedule this on the weekends so that anyone who wants to join isn't too terribly inconvinienced.

Just a thought, what do you all think?

i think it is a good idea cause that always happens to me you stay there for like an hour and nobody comes

Its difficult to find a time due to the time zones and people being busy. I guess its just luck when you log on. Angelsbaby101 and I were in there for a long time yesterday so its not like people are not going in.

If you look at the links on the top (under the banner) you will see one that says 'chat'

Ok the mods are confusing the hell outta me! they keep changing they're avatars! ahhhh.

and thanks Faith. I was just gonna ask that. Chat boards here I come!

I've been popping in, unfortunately my dodgey downloads slow down everything so its difficult to use proggys while doing the download thing.. 😀 the chat is set as my homepage though 🙂

There's always about 15 people on the boards when I'm on most of the time, and then there's only 4 people in the chat... what's that all about?

not to keen on chat rooms prefere AIM/MSN you can actually have a chat with somone as appose to two people chatting and most people not getting a word in!

Unfortunately, people (like me Faldor, if you're curious) got screwed out of an AIM program at my job and can only chat on a chat capable web page---so, since I only come on at work, I have to pick my good chat times and pop on then 😀

I too prefer Instant Messengers over chat rooms, on MSN I know every single person I speak to (and most of the people I dont speak to) as aposed to chat rooms where I dont really know anyone, and where the whole talk is one big chaos.

Good for you Jacklyn! You break those rules at work. You should get on for all your work day. 😉

I agree that chat rooms are usually chaotic and full of pandemonium, and that you never really know anyone. But that's the whole point of the Buffy Boards chat room, we already know everyone, and it gives us a chance to talk in real time.... Usually i avoid chat rooms like the plague, but i thought that it would be fun to talk to everyone and not have to wait to read a reply.

Chat or no chat, i still love it here.

I avoid chat rooms normally, but big ones like Yahoo etc. I only really like to people I know and although I don't know everyone here, but at least have seen them around so its not like they are people i've never seen before and will probably not see again.
