Cheating: Scrabble/Words With Friends

Do you consider it cheating in Scrabble, Words with Friends, etc. when someone randomly puts in letters until it accepts a word (assuming a digital version of the game here)--having no idea what the eventually accepted word means?

I've never consider that cheating, but I wouldn't be opposed to digital games having a rule about the number of words you can submit before losing your turn.

No I don't consider that cheating. It's using what you have, however you can... However I do think it's cheating when people actually use apps or cheat sheets that show them all the different words they can make with the letters they have or whatever.

I can't decide one way or the other...

I do find it annoying when people make words by randomly placing letters dozens of times until one sticks, but it doesn't bother me too much because people who play that way rarely actually win 😛

considering I don't know enough English word to have any winning chance at Scrabble, I don't think it's cheating.... XD

ughh what has the digital world done to classic games!? Now, because I only play the good old fashion scrabbles, I don't have to deal with this problem. I wouldn't say it's downright cheating, but more so I'd say it would be frowned upon to do that. But again, Buffyverse Fan said it well, those people rarely win, so I'm not too bothered by it.

Also, if the person would be playing against a computer, I guess it'd be a good way to practice and discover new words. Like when I practice playing chess I will undo and redo a bunch of moves to discover new strategies, but obviously I can't do that in a real match.
