Checking in, new to online fandom

Hi everyone - I've loved all things Buffy for a long time but signing up here is the first time I've ever participated in online boards or fandom of any kind!

About me - I currently live in Ontario, Canada, I'm keeping up with season 9 comics, but only for Buffy (haven't kept up with Angel/Faith, though I hear they're terrific). I usually ship Spuffy, but that doesn't mean I don't think other Buffy matches have been well done. And if we're talking about best relationship ever on the show, I'd go Willow/Tara. I love watching/debating episodes with friends, and I'm even doing some academic work that sometimes includes Whedon/Buffy stuff, but I have no idea how to participate online.

Any general help/advice would be very welcome, you have no idea just how new I am to this!

Hi and welcome to BB. If you have any questions just ask. Because the Crew is taking some changes on the server everything here is very bizzy and shaked at the moment. 😀 We hope you will enjoy it here!

Hey, welcome! Tillow is grand. I felt the same way when I first got here, I wasn't really an online person...I mean I usually don't participate on forums and stuff but we're all pretty awesome and friendly, you'll feel like a member of the family in no time.

Reading the Rules/faq is a good way to start. If you then have questions you can ask anyone but you can also get a personal helper/handler/watcher to help you out by posting here. A great way to get to know other members are to get sorted into a dorm. You ask to be sorted in The sorting tome Hope to see you around.
