My Buffy liking has recently developed into an obsession and I was sitting at home thinking, in my Xander voice, do I need help or are there others out there just like me? So, I decided that the best place to start looking for others was on the net. And here you are!
Obsession?! I even had a dream with Spike in it the other night. No, not that kind of dream. We were playing golf (another of my obsessions) in the dark and, as if that isn't enough of an advantage for him, I had hit a beautiful 3-wood shot from the rough onto the green and he kicked it off. He then said "What do you expect, I'm a vampire!"
Anyway, I 'spose I'm kind of an anachronism as a Buffy fan, being a 32 y.o. straight Aussie male who works night shift as a technician in a factory. You should see some af the looks I get from "the guys" when I bring up something from Buffy!
I started watching because a girl I worked with at the time, who was like 6ft tall, blonde and gorgeous (different job!), was into it big time and was always telling me to check it out. So when season 5 started airing I thought I'd check it out and was hooked about 3 episodes in. Season 7 finished here about July last year and by October I was in desperate need of a fix so I bought season 1-3 second hand on video. Then when I'd watched all of those I got 4-6 on DVD and finished the collection with season 7 when it was released here on April 26th (see, I still remember the date and everything. I should because I drove all over town trying to find the box sets that day!). So I've now watched s1-3 4 times, s4 twice (onto that again now), s7 twice, s5&6 3 times.
Okay, that's enough out of me. I'm ecstatic to be on board and I hope you're all just as happy to have me.
